Headliners according to 6 music are....

not bothered about coldplay, at all, but a friend who didn't really like them tells me they're surprisingly good live. BUT, its glasto. there's BOUND to be someone i like on elsewhere.

david bowie would be good but it might be a case of going to see him just so i've seen him. you know? an experience that everyone should try. like eating sushi or skinny-dipping. one of those things.

(points to anyone that combines all three of those things.)

the rolling stones i would LOVE to be there. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

(and also radiohead. even though they were there recently, but less recently than coldplay i guess. and pulp if they reform. and pavement if they come to europe. and countless small bands that i won't go into listing as this is a thread about headliners not a wishlist.)

I think this is bollocks personally.

I would be pleased with any of the 3, but don't think any of them will play.

True - but Springsteen's more of a pick up and play, let's do the show right here kind of guy - and th E STreet Band are well-rehearsed pros. By contrast, The Stones need 6 weeks of rehearsals to get anywhere near match fit, and as it stands they're not due to convene until August 2010 to prepare for a jaunt round the US.

They might pass through Pilton in 2011, though. :)

What is with that list, just above Cher at 66-1 is Folk Face, the comedy band made up of Dave and Dom off the Chris Moyles Show :)

And according to these odds that's more likely than the Cure!

But seriously if Bowie did play I'd have some jealous mates, they love him but would never go glasto and despite the inevitable moaning on here that would take place if they did play, I personally would be very pleased if coldplay were there.
