This year myself and Mrs Felna bought a couple of bottles of Pimms decanted into several bottles of lemonade which we carried around with in a small rucksack.

However to be honest, we generally just planned regular passes of the Brothers bar as we went about our daily meanderings...

What's the best/strongest cider you'd recommend to us America peoples (since we dont really traffic much in ciders here)?

Actually, any suggestions would be rad since England sounds like a Wonka Wonderland of new booze.

Cool! New one on me that is... so for the butterscotch could I just lob a load of Worthers Originals (other butterscotch candy is available) at a bottle of vodka and wait for them to dissolve?

And I thought I was being clever making elderflower vodka this year (which is *really* nice)

Boxed wine, rose is my favourite.

Anf sweets flavoured vodka, I'm going to experiment with Black Jack vodka for a party next week as a pilot run, will go through as many other flavours as possible to see which works best in time for next year.

All for purely scientific reasons of course..

I don't generally drink at glasto but i always take a little flask of Stroh 80.

80% dark austrian rum.

Bloody lethal stuff that gets you proper wasted in about 10 seconds. if you can still breathe.

I just can't be arsed with drinking then constantly needing a piss.

2010 (and can we all start calling it twenty ten please? two thousand and xxx is so last millennium :) ) will be my first Glasto, and after digesting the food thread, I'm wondering what's the most efficient/drinkable unchilled beverage to bring. Any veterans care to share their tipple of choice? I'm anticipating a resounding response of Brothers, but I'm more after advice on what to bring.

Suggestion for you - go to the Red Flag bar by the Acoustic Stage and try the real ales. Best alcohol found on site, and there are usually a fair few to choose from (around 10 I believe?).

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
