I've bought some new wet weather gear so all should be fine and sunny for the festival weekend :-)

Comparing the ensembles for the 12z and the 18z GFS the pressure is def not as low, lets hope this continues...

GFS must have improved as that weather.com site was predicting rain for thursday through to sunday yesterday. If that comes off would be perfect for me - I don't want rain or a heatwave.

GFS charts are a definite improvement today on both pressure and precipitation!! Mix bag of sunshine and showers, a lot better than yesterdays monsoons!

We need our Western front to hold strong against incoming lows....

GFS again bringing the low in on the 00z but it appears not quite so badly as the low is weakening/high strenghening a tad

The ECMWF and UKMO going for this low aswell but to my untrained eye it appears the low is weakening and the UKMO has the low sliding upwards on a nor east path up past the western highlands, this ties in with the BBC forecast I saw, this would be good news as we would prolly get a shower or two in a short space of time and thats it

The weather today in Glastonbury is grey/overcast but they don't look like rain clouds. Yesterday was a bit muggy but that seems to have gone away.

forecast looking A LOT better today init, I am hopeful that it will improve further. Esp as I spent ages digging out my wet weather stuff... and I've given up taking my bicycle - that means it will be prefect cycling weather all festival!

Seeing as good old Metcheck is still *very* b*ggered & broken and has been pretty much since December last year I've kinda substituted This TWC Page instead for the constant looky see treatment just in case it's changed for the better since I last looked Not looking too bad just now I think ... well, compared to last night anyways ! Was showing a significantly greater than evens chance of precipitation on all days until first thing this morning. Still plenty of room for improvement mind you ... but I'll settle for this mornings random guess professional forecast *IF* needs be

Theres a big H above the Southwest in nearly all the ECM charts this morning !!!!

ECM 00z looks really good, the low pressure seems to be pushed NW of Scotland on Thursday and Friday and Southern England has high pressure over it on Saturday and Sunday
