Weather thread 2010

JACKONE has started up a Netweather Glastonbury 2010 thread; linky. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about that, as it means I'm either ecstatic or distraught, depending on the prevailing forecast. :P

i know its NOT going to *R* but if it does i reckon every one should just stand still until the little shower [ cos that's all were going to get ] so as not to churn up the *M* . i remember shouting at people to do that last year in the park :P:P some of the looks i got were brilliant but in my drunken state i thought it a great idea . :P:lol:

 BRING ON THE SUNSHINE

I think he sees warm as on a continuum.

Freezing - Cold - Mild - Warm - Hot - Scorchio

So a scorcher is not warm. I think that's what was meant anyway.

i think about pie every time one of yous says that...

it was over 100F today. I can't take 5 days of that in a tent. I'd not care whilst i was having fun, obviously, but i'm not generally a beach bum person.

I have sunburnt shoulders from drinking in a beer garden yesterday and playing out with my little lad today and I'm f**king loving it. I WANT THIS WEATHER AT GLASTO! You can always find shade and a cooling drink if you want it. All the "ooh it's too hot/hows about a small shower" crowd can do one.

NO RAIN. NO MUD. NO COMPROMISE!

I would love it to be weather like we are having now in Nottingham, I know it's warm, but warmth is good!

Warm weather, cool cider and good music! Perfect conditions!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
