It's looking set to be the best Festival again this summer?

Thursday:

There's nothing worth watching..? the lineup is shite on Thursday.

When arriving this year it's probably not worth turning up until late on Friday afternoon if at all?

Friday:

Sleep all day and then go and watch either the Doves or Neil Young, unfortunately you'll only catch one as they'll both be playing at the same time and the walk between stages is a nightmare.

Everything else is quite laughable on Friday much like it was on Thursday hence why you didn't arrive until today.

Saturday:

Sleep in again you've got a long wait until Gaslight Anthem, then after watching the greatest set of the weekend, go eat some shit food and wait for Bruce Springsteen to arrive on that wobbly crap stage they call the Pyramid.

That's saturday over, you've seen three decent acts so far.

Sunday:

Sleep in late again, your tent really stinks by now or go and get a nice plate of chips for breakfast? Cold War Kids aren't on for ages. After watching them you're almost finished, chill out for the rest of the day and catch the Prodigy if you can be bothered to watch them again for the 15th time since 1990 on your tired aching feet looking forward to the 24 hour journey home.

The end!!! Well done you've seen 5 bands in a field full of smelly bastards.

I think I saw about 6 in 2000, so that seems about right.

There's more than just premium acts, it's always been that way and this years lineup is more diverse in as much as it seems to be providing a wide balance of quality acts in a lot of genres better than any other festival that I am aware of.

To be fair I'm only planning to see about 6 bands all weekend, the rest I just hope to stumble across.

Thursday

Wake up late after last nights shenannigans and grab a bacon sandwich before checking out some of the hundreds of market stalls and maybe purchasing a new hat. A couple of pints and a hog roast later and it's on to the Dance lounge to see East 17 :) a trip to the wine bar to stock up then it's on to the world's first 3D disco for a bit of shape throwing then on to trash city of back to the camp for some late night tomfoolery.

Friday

What better way to cure the hangover than a bit of fresh air and Bjorn Again on the pyramid (It'll sound even better in the blistering sunshine) or alternatively watching the fantastic Mr Hudson (possibly joined by Kanye West to perform Supernova), stay at the pyramid stage to watch the angelic Regina Spektor while sinking a couple of drinks then it's off to see the fantastic Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, possibly a bit of Little Boots, some more wonderful food and a few more drinks before heading off to the Jazz world for The Streets and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Q-tip!

Saturday

ROLF FLIPPIN' HARRIS to wake us up, the Spinal tap reunion, Dizzee going bonkers on the Pyramid followed immediately by The Gaslight Anthem a quick break before seeing the hottest thing in dance music right now (Deadmau5) before finishing the day watching one of the best live performers ever to grace a stage with 100,000 likeminded idividuals. All of this washed down with some rocket fuel from the wine bar, and did I mention the awesome food?

Sunday

A bit of a laugh with the Quo and Tony Christie right after breakfast followed by Just Jack, Tom Jones, a horrible clash between Madness, Bat for Lashes and Ladyhawke before a bit of break and then 2 absolutely amazing choices to end the festival with the Blur reunion or THE PRODGY!!

I didn't even have time to mention the Stone Circle, Shagri-La, Cider or Setting fire to things (a personal favourite of mine) etc.

I'm hoping my festival pans out a bit more like that ;)

Well I think people should go easy on him. Quite a lot of time and effort has gone into that. He's studied the lineup to a festival he's not going to; has clearly put some thought into how best he might be able to wind people up and has given his best (you can almost feel the effort) to sound quite clever and funny in the process.

It's hard to be cross with someone who is clearly so much in need of attention and some tlc. All the best mate and hope something nice happens in your life soon. ;):):)

Everyone this is Swinning...

Swinning...take a bow please...

we've been wondering what happened to you? So you didnt take up the offer of the ticket we bought for you then?

To all recent Efest Glasto Chat additions...just one word of advice...

DONT TALK TO THIS MAN! His head is in a funny place...

up his arse and should be trolling off back to the Reading thread where he usually lives.

Now play nicely children...and Swinning...this place is and has been extremely well behaved, full of love and respect for these past few months...we REALLY and I categorically state now on behalf of every single very happy and excited Efester that uses Glasto Chat that REALLY NOW...in these final few days before we head off to the festival WE want to be at...we do NOT NEED YOUR IGNORANCE, RUDENESS, PETTINESS, TROLLISH BEHAVIOUR IN THIS PARTICULAR FORUM IN EFESTS.

And to all noobs...seriously...dont let this guy get to you because, although this forum is pretty much a free world and everyone is entitled to their opinions...this particular bad apple is rotten to the core when it comes to not having any respect or idea about Glastonbury...and yet dishes out mindless shite towards all of us!

Thank you...now run along Swinning!
