Not sure about the accuracy of the list but I like the idea of having a list containing everybody who's self confirmed, because the efestivals list doesn't distinguish between people who have self-confirmed "Which I think basically means they're playing" and other rumours in the press and such.

Also, people are allowed to post what they want, speculation is a good and needed part of the buildup

But really, I see the individual confirmation threads as a place to discuss that act, get excited with fellow fans, slag them off if need be, etc.

Think the list's a bit old and inaccurate IMO, efests one I find more trustworthy (notwithstanding its lack of update over Easter after C65's efforts). For instance, Pink Fraud have long been removed from the list as it's established they're no longer coming.

Also, efests TBC is essentially as good as a self-confirmation.

I love the irony of all the people coming into this thread to complain to someone complaining about the other rumour threads.

I for one think this is a great idea. I don't have the spare time to trudge through all the confimation threads, especially those that drop down the pages quickly. And since the main Efestivals rumour page doesn't actually list the sources of the rumours, there's no other way of telling who has self-confirmed.

Good work. This should be pinned for all to see!

a similar thread works really nicely in the download forum and i believe luckysalt runs one in the v forum too

excellent idea, just need the OP to edit for days/stages and keep it updated when we get more rumours/self confirmations
