Aye ! , when they played the JP Stage !

Had only got to bed about 9.00 am , so I set my alarm to give me plenty of time to get up and

go see em.

Slept in , woke up 20 mins before they were on , got dressed in a flash and raced from big ground to

get there 2 mins before they came on.

I wish had not bothered , I was not impressed !!! , I am a huge fan and try em catch em every time.

They were bad at Leeds as well a few months later !

The thing is anyone who did not really know BSP and went to their set , would come away not wanting

to see em again.

their perfromance at leftfield was amazing, much better than their set at john peel, or at leeds in august. i've also been to their gigs and methinks they suit smaller venues and stages rather than large ones.

but considering they played a total of three times last year, i doubt they'd play again this year? hope i'm wrong though.

I thought they'd self confirmed?

when I saw them live they were shite. I will give them another chance but it wont take much of a clash for me to give them a swerve.

They are bellends on stage though. I had to have my toes surgically uncurled after their cringeworthy onstage "antics" last time I saw them

Wow, i'm surprised at all the negativity surrounding BSP. They are a great, great band. One of the better British bands of the last 5 years or so. A good fesitval band too, I reckon. One of my favourite performances of theirs was T in the Park '04. Well looking forward to them this year. Also (may have been mentioned earlier) but they have just released a soundtrack to a 1930's film, 'Man of Aran'.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
