The fact that they STILL haven't been announced suggests to me that they might be holding out for a non-exclusive slot at Sonisphere. Despite having Metallica and LP, Sonisphere won't get the sort of mainstream coverage that V, TITP, Glasto or Reading will, something I think might bother Placebo.

Personally I'd have said TITP was most likely when I heard they were doing Sonisphere (as it would still have been an English exclusive), but I still reckon they're a reasonable shout for Reading.

it's alright. starts off pretty badly but awesome chorus and end. lyrically, not great. there's hope for the album, though, since the first single from Meds was probably one of the worst songs on the album.

I agree lyrically it is poor, very poor infact. But after the first listen I see where they're going with it and the word repetition gets much more bearable.

Was up nice and early to get my pre-sale ticket for the London date! Was well happy to return from a weekend away yesterday to find a facebook message form my friend telling me of the gigs!

Just goes to show I was wise not to get a Reading ticket really (despite having been 7 years running), given Placebo are my only 'must see' band on the line up anyways and now i'm going to see them in just over 5 weeks time!
