I'm pretty sure this info is correct - seeing as the guy who told me it also told me the four bands that were announced, and has a long history of telling efests things that are proven 100% correct.

In the gig guide section of Kerrang AIC are listed in the confirmed bands for Sonisphere so id say they're a definite.

Someone on the AIC board said Kerrang! had said AIC would be Metallica special guests and I can imagin NIN would Linkin Parks.

No not yet. Probably do the DL thing of seeing how sales go and if there are still tickets with 2/3 months to go then offer day tickets.

One theory - Sonisphere had it down as AIC's only UK date of the year. Perhaps there was confusion as they are gonna do a couple of other dates? I know thats happened with bands before (for example Tool argued with Download about announcing tour dates in 2006) so maybe they have taken it down whilst they sort that out?

Anyways I await news!
