mario man
Richard Hawley. Pretty sure he's never played (guest spot with Elbow last year doesn't count!) Would be perfect high up the bill on a smaller stage. Here's another shout for Gorillaz - maybe after the third album...?

attackofthemongs
There's two acts I've always wanted to see at Glasto , the first is Neil Jung , fingers crossed , seems like it might actually occur shortly. The second is Kraftwerk. It looks like they've preety much called it a day now ,but considering the emergence and presence of electronic myoosic over previous years, the out and out Daddy's of dance would be hailed and welcomed to the glasto bosoms like no other. a period of pirramid pluto plus the goddess of love venus would please the plasma. I f**king love that band.
hoils
Great calls with Michael Jackson and Kraftwewrk. Think both are very unlikely nowadays, for different reasons (no longer existing and not being able to afford the train fare to Castle Cary, respectively). Others that have already been mentioned that would be ace include Tracey Chapman, LCD Soundsystem, Elton John, Magnetic Fields, Prince and Kate Bush. Others that I can think of that haven't been mentioned yet: Gace Jones (as big possibility this year maybe?) Jim Noir Madonna (cue hysterical reaction by a few men - she's a slag/slut/whore. Classy opinion gents, classy) The Specials (looking good for this year. Wish Jerry was playing with them though) Dolly (it's going to happen eventually, surely?) McFly Jenny Lewis Mad Caddis Girls Aloud Glenn Campbell (must be a good shout for this year) Los de Abajo (on the Jazz at sunset natch) Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Take That (fingers crossed for next year) NOFX Great Big Sea Mary J Blige Swingin Utters Violent Femmes (think they're not talking to each other anymore so they're a non-starter) Beyonce An orchestra playing the 1812 after the main headliner. Fireworks, cannons, the lot. And finally, the dream gig, Jimmy Cauty and Drummond getting back together. f**k knows what it would involve but I'm sure it'd be very special indeed

alframsey
I don't think they could have Floyd with just one of the original members called Floyd really. That's weak.

Tugger2k
Just thought id be an idea to see who you think should have played the Big G, but for some inexplicable reason they havent. i'll kick off with the wonderful Mr Ray Lamontagne i cannot for the life of me fathom how either late on in the acoustic or sat/sun afternoon (but it would have to be sunny) pyramid action hasnt happened.
