VHS tapes of BBC Glasto coverage

Hi all, I've been doing a bit of a clear out and have found 7 VHS tapes of the BBC footage of Glasto 2003 and 2004. I was going to put them in the bin but thought someone on here might like them. I don't know what's on what tape, some are in SP, others LP and being VHS they're not the best quality.

So does anyone want them? Just pay the postage and they're yours, if not they're going to the big Betamax player in the sky...

Just to give you an idea, according to the Post Office website, postage would be around £5.70 for first class, £4.20 for standard parcels and £15 for Parcelforce 48. Or by all means collect them from me in Norfolk.

Apart from 94 which I didnt go to and recorded every sacred minute of C4 footage and then the year after getting the rents to do the same while I was at me first Glasto I can safely say I have barely watched any of the tv footage since 97 due to being there, the Beeb footage not being anywhere near as good as C4 (back in the days when Jo Whiley actually left the bus compound and SHOCK HORROR mingled with the festy goers!)

Would be cool to see all the footage and remember all the things I no doubt saw...and by hell I need reminding!!! :D

Cant you just get one of those VHS to dvd machines that convert? Then produce lots for all of us??? :)

*BUMP*

So harrisonmuse16 isn't to be trusted.

Sent him the tapes, had assurance that he would send me a cheque for the postage and I've heard nothing since. Even the email address above no longer works.

It was only a fiver to post them, but you know, you expect some degree of honesty, especially for such a small amount.

Anyway, rant over. If he ever comes back around these parts I'll be having words...

No harm done mate, it's just when no cheque materialised and emails got returned from your hotmail address I thought you'd just done a runner as it were. It did strike me as a bit strange that you'd go to a fair bit of effort just to gain some old VHS tapes though, so I did wonder if there was a valid reason.

Get the cheque in the post and we'll say no more about it.

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
