  1. It absolutely does. As a non Beatles officando, maybe you could point me to said song/lyrics?
  2. You'd be better off investing in a decent power bank - something like this will last you the festival if you're not going too mad. £28.99... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07S829LBX/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_dl_YJC676RBXDQ51NQ2CYQH
  3. I wonder what percentage of festival attendees are international, I'd imagine significant enough. But outside of the delay to entry as a result of long queues at the box office - which they may be happy to accept - I'm interested to find out how they plan to address the very real traffic management issues someone with a campervan is going to face getting to/from PGA and how they are going to provide access to the car park to people who's car parking tickets are with their festival tickets at the box office.
  4. It wasn't an attack on the genre but rather highlighting my gripe with giving that kind of content airtime (particularly when there's plenty of young and impressionable ears in the crowd). Those examples were both just big Pyramid acts of late but I think you'd be hard pressed finding worse lyrics, tbh.
  5. "Said play with my pussy, but don't play with my 'motions ('motions) If you spend some money, then maybe I just might fuck ya (fuck ya)" - Rules, Doja Cat "Call me Gunshot Mike or Mr Skeng Check one-two-one man skitzed again Dickhead you and a dickhead crew Getting gassed up by your dickhead friends" - Mr. Skeng, Stormzy Crass and violent lyrics are messages that aren't consistent with the Glastonbury ethos...
  6. For the Game of Thrones fans, the lead singer of Molotov Jukebox is Osha the Wildling
  7. What address did you email? I've the same issue (as well as my car parking tickets not being posted) so I'm going email now also.
  8. Setting a reminder to come back to this comment post festival... I'm looking forward to hearing what your response will be (my bet is it'll still exceed your expectations!)
  9. A good mate I used to live with coined the phrase "matchday etiquette". It's a catchall phrase that effectively means that if its a matchday, he run's off his own clock and simply claims "matchday etiquette". If he's ready to go to the pub/stadium/home and others aren't on his exact timeline, he'll leave them behind and just claim "matchday etiquette". It threads a thin line between efficiency and ignorance but we've started implementing this mentality with great success at festivals now too. Ultimately we don't need to hold each others hands. I'm going to see 'X' act - you can come with me or I might see you there shortly or I might not. We're fully grown humans and have WhatsApp to throw up a flare if we want to meet up. Simples 🙂
  10. That's a really good point... How are we even meant to get into the car park when our car parking tickets are (I assume) with our tickets?
  11. Me trying not to look at this tread as I think about bringing my other half to her first ever festival...
  12. Unfortunately they didn't come out to the crowd after so I didn't get to ask. Pinged them on social too but also haven't got a reply. They absolutely smashed it though - quite a few new tunes and they've also perfected a Prodigy mash up in honour of the man himself. It was absolutely fantastic! I also asked them after a gig a few years back if they'd be at Glasto 2019. At the time they were keeping all their fingers and toes crossed but evidently they didn't make the cut. I imagine the want is still there for them - particularly given that only last week they had to postpone their whole UK tour again - so I'd say it's just down to whether Glasto are going to book them or not.... Here's hoping they do!
  13. On my way to see Showhawk Duo now. They usually sell merch after so I'll ask if they've got the call up!

I got it (2nd time) two weeks ago. Delighted about it. Weirdly though, my other half didn't catch it even though we live in a small 1 bed apartment together. She gave it to me the first time around too so we should be on the same timeline.

I really feel for you, mate. It's a really shitty situation to get you're head around. My dad had stroke during the summer also, a few weeks after his 2nd dose of the vaccine. He's finding it tough to rationalise it all. The doctors keep telling him it was a different type of clot but obviously he can't help but question things. Its really difficult and I can totally see why you would too.

    It's a weird predicament isn't it?
  17. All Together Now (Ireland) have announced another bunch of acts for the end of July...
  18. With the ban on single use plastic, I assume the Co-Op will only have cans? I don't remember seeing larger bottles in 2019 (albeit my memory is hazy)....
  19. A decent mix for me - a few beers, a few ciders, spirit mix TBC and a couple of boxes of vino. I'm quite interested in this talk of espresso martinis though... assume people just plough ahead without the ice?
  20. Close enough alright😂
  21. What are peoples thoughts on an Amelia Lens appearance? She's nothing in her calendar during the Glasto window.
  22. We left Dublin at around 9am... think it was 7:30pm by the time we got into the car park (for anyone else reading that's normally a 2 hour drive). We then ended up in the overflow campsite and which was polluted with wasps... That said, was still a great festival. Roll on July!
