I agree with this. Secret Glasto doesn't work if everyone has it. Didn't the Paolo Nutini secret set work fairly well because Secret Glasto got asked not to leak it?

Frank Turner up there in 2019 on the Thursday was crazy with the whole place rammed. There were as many people lock outside as got in. I could see all this as I was stood at the bar entrance with a beer watching it all unfold waiting for Snapped Ankles who were next; I only nipped out for a pee and couldn't get back in. Also this was the only place I could find any mud in 2019; wrecked my trainers in the Snapped Ankles mosh.

For showers only as far as I know; was always dead easy to fill up water bottles.

I'm a shift worker and Glasto falls when I'm working so I've had to do some swaps as we don't get holiday.

If you miss the first delivery you can't go to the nearest collection point any more. You have to wait until they've made a second delivery attempt the next day, then go to collect. Ours is only open for a short period each day now as well.

Here’s our flags from 2019; usually just fly the top one. Looks the same from both sides. I made it with a plain flag and some acrylic paint.

I had to borrow a Brookite campsite flag last year for EOTR as mine got stolen at Green Man. I’ve replaced it with a Spirit of Air one because I noticed the last section on the Brookite was very flimsy. See pics.

Anyone got any recommendations for plastic bottles to decant spirits into? I bought a pack of 4 last year but although ok, they seem a bit brittle and one did leak through the lid.

Managed to meet up, and get to some friends I spotted down at the front left; one of them always has a branch he waves around.

In the last couple of weeks before, save up a few half empty/full toilet rolls. They fit in your hoody pocket for early morning long-drop trips. I do know you can get them free from the Lock-ups.

Agreed. Before were mainly up against people who got bored and started messaging each other after 5 mins of not getting in.

Ask the people who enter the London Marathon ballot and have failed for 10 years running. At least you could give yourself an edge by working at it with the old system.

This is where we’ve spent most of the night the last couple of festivals. Sleeping bags on ground sheets works ok if it stays dry. Didn’t sleep that great last year as I had a seasoned Glasto goer talking through the night at a couple of mates who hadn’t been before. It is really quick from here once it all gets moving.
