  1. I have a spare for Lynks at Papillon in Southampton tomorrow night going free.
  2. All the stages are just a few minutes apart just like EOTR. The Far Out is a tented stage like the Big Top at EOTR but has one massive opening which I prefer; it doesn't become a sauna but can get muddy all the way to the stage in places. Love the GM Rising stage which can get rammed, especially if they stick someone line LDP on there. Camping seems to be all close to the arena area once you get down the hill on the way in, which is a pain to get up with a big trolley full. They're both great festivals; hard to split them.
  3. I’d never heard of SZA and never listened to O’Rod. Just played them both and would take Janelle Monae any day. I’m sure she won’t headline Pyramid but would still be cool on Park or Woodsies. She was great last time on WH.
  4. Don't think it matters, Bella Donna was a great album and she does FM songs too.
  5. Green Man drops in an hour if you need some practice.
  6. Think they opened the Mountain Stage in 2017; first year for me.
  7. We do both festivals and I’d love to see them at either. I do think the Garden Stage at EOTR would be perfect though.
  8. The Decembrists feel like a great fit for GM or EOTR. Looks like they’re only down for APE atm.
  9. HGM played in 2018, just checked and it was my first EOTR. I was really into the Heart like a Levve album at the time. It was an amazing set but I did feel slightly sad they never played Living Above the Waterline I really like to think we could see The Decemberists fill this slot but maybe they’re too big?
  10. HGM played not so long ago on the Garden Stage. They were excellent.
  11. I saw this too. Was a special set. Could have watched them for another hour.
  12. 8% would be a massive amount. Have a read of WobblyPants post above. It kinda makes sense to me and may make you feel better.
  13. Just one group of six for us this year and I was the lucky one; in and out inside 5 minutes. That's never happened before. Hung for 30 secs on payment but fairly smooth otherwise.
  14. How can you be sure it would be thousands? The majority including myself would have no idea how to do this even when handed the instructions.
  15. Then people who aren't prepared to waste an hour of their time would get one.
  16. It’s been bad last couple of years due to systems crashing/throwing you out etc. Took me 3 hours this year. Got tickets paid and showing as pending in my bank but still managed to lose them. Eventually landed em though. Nowhere near as bad as Glasto but just irritating and time consuming. Also whoever really wants one can wait and pick up one on Twickets, unlike Glasto.
  17. I prefer the long drawn out disappointment. Also all the chaos often rewards persistence.
  18. Cargo shorts yeah, but I manage much better in the heat with a scruffy loose shirt which I can undo and waft around a bit 🤣
  19. I had two decent size tents to put up as my mate has just had a foot operation so he waited in the car. knew I'd get wet so put on proper wet weather gear and just went for it. Didn't take that long; we camp just past the wristband tent on the right (Radiohead flag) so close to the car. I'd forgotten all about the rain by the evening. Did Glasto, GM and EOTR. EOTR was best.
  20. They’d headline Woods but would be so suited to Garden.
  21. The rate of turnaround at the couple of urinal cabins was incredible I thought; never waited more than about 30 seconds to get in. Only had a couple of wees in the composts and lifted the seat then used plenty of sanitiser; left the seat up too so next person didn't think it was me who'd wee'd all over it. The composts near where we camped were mint in the morning when I used them.
