  1. Also, they do cola ones with caffeine if you need something to get you going in the morning, or later at night if you're not into the naughties.
  2. I use these often due to sweating a lot when cycling/running/swimming, the pink grapefruit flavour are the best.
  3. This was certainly my experience in 2019, no queues to get into the SEC.
  4. No ticket checks as far as I can remember to get into the CV fields from outside the festival, apart from the driver for their CV ticket and maybe their festival ticket. Even if your passenger is asked for his ticket, just explain the situation and show relevant emails and i'm sure it'll be fine.
  5. The festival are known to be very conservative in issuing tickets to stages for the acts they are putting on. I would think that you'd have to be a pretty prestigious act on one of the bigger stages to be issued tickets for more than just your band members/crew.
  6. You won't be allowed to park a car in the campervan fields next to a campervan.

    Real Ale

I think turn up and see. You could try joining the Twitter and Facebook groups for the bars to see if they post what they'll be selling, or even send a message and ask!
  8. I seem to remember getting dropped off by a National Express coach in 1998 in the pissing rain and having to walk trough the village along some lanes to get to the gate to enter the festival. The bus/coach drop off must've been a different place to where it is now. Is this correct or am I getting confused? I didn't have a ticket and, being young and naive, I thought I was going to get rumbled at any minute by security and removed from the area, didn't happen though. There was also a stall that used to sell half a baguette made into garlic bread for a quid, I lived on that as I was a student at the time. If I felt rich i'd treat myself to the Aussie Steak Sandwich stall - which is still there!
  9. As long as it isn't raining I don't mind, don't even mind mud tbh. I'd prefer it not to be too hot though.

    Kate Bush

Zero chance of Kate Bush playing Glasto i'm afraid.

    Crew Bars 2022

It's nice to be able to go into crew bars but it's not something i'd worry about if I didn't have access. You're not missing much by not getting in, there's much better stuff to see/do outside of the bars.
  12. Co-op does not sell any booze.
  13. The whole band were already ticket holders. I don't think a VIP lane for artists/bands to buy tickets exists. You're either big enough to get a free ticket or you buy a ticket and then arrange some gigs with the stages that don't get ticket allocation for all the acts they put on.
  14. I played 5 sets over the 2019 festival but had to have bought my own ticket. Two were on proper stages too, Bimble Inn and Avalon Cafe.

    Gate C

I'll be in WV this year so no need to 😉

    Gate C

There were a few times in 2019 when the queues to get back into the festival were pretty long. You can also queue for a bit to get out too.
  17. Not unless they're one of the TBAs, which is possible as they are headlining a festival at Ally Pally in July.
  18. Basically the strip of land from the Worthy Farm buildings directly south to Kings' Meadow/Stone Circle is the Eavis'.
  19. I reckon a 20 minute walk on a good day.
  20. Anyone know how good the canvas on the Scout Tents is at stopping the tent warming up when the sun comes up? Just wondering if I should get myself a Fresh Tarp to put over the canvas to reflect the morning sun away and cool the tent down.
  21. No special wristbands other than the GA one. You have to show, and they check, your ticket every time you go both into and out of the festival. You get a passout when you leave and you have to show your ticket, passout and wristband to get back.
  22. Whether it is or not, from the responses on this thread, it seems to be fairly common for ticket checkers to 'accidentally' let people to get in on someone else's ticket. So the threat or presence of checks doesn't seem to have the desired effect.
  23. Getting in on someone else's ticket is risky enough, but doing it and staying in the CV fields is just plain stupid, considering you'll need to get away with it numerous times over the festival. If it was me i'd be going in once and staying in there until Monday whilst thanking the Glasto gods that I got away with it.
