  1. They had been at the festival for years, I first went in 1998 and i'm sure they were there then. Weren't they raising money to repair a canal or something somewhere in the UK? Maybe they raised enough and it's now fixed so no need to raise funds anymore?
  2. It will be a more typical set list, what they call their 'festival set'. I imagine there will be some green and brown tracks in there like Lush, Impact, Halcyon, Chime and Belfast though, maybe shorter versions than they usually do live though as they'll probably only have an hour set on The Park.
  3. They were playing their first 2 albums in full, green album followed by the brown album. Apologies if you already know, the brown album is one of the greatest electronic albums ever made. It'll probably be a mixed set at G but worth seeing anyway.
  4. Probably down to how much mark up the seller is putting on for their own pocket.
  5. I'm seeing them on Saturday in London, it's gonna be awesome - the Brown Album is one of my all time favourites.
  6. Might be named but pretty sure no photo.
  7. I think that's the same kind of hospitality ticket as I was talking unless you don't get hospitality camping access with your ticket? It seems the people you were talking to just didn't know about all the options that are out there.
  8. Sounds like you have a ticket that comes with access to the on-site hospitality campsite, which is pretty much a no frills affair that just comes with a few food vendors, private bar and showers. The £5k tickets folk are talking about are for the off-site luxury glamping sites.
  9. Ah Club Dada, strolled into there one year just as Lady Gaga was about to start a secret set.
  10. 0% chance of 2 of those playing.
  11. I was very happy to see Bukem on the Glade lineup this year, hopefully a late night set. Missed him last year due to being too tired after an Oxfam shift.
  12. Oooh, a new stage - I wonder where that's going go in the Glade area?
  13. Still the Glade after their announcement.
  14. I've used Distill to monitor for Oxfam places, the paid for version is better than the free one.
  15. I walked past Hitchen Hill on Saturday afternoon last year on my way to.my Oxfam shift and am sure there was loads of space available.
  16. Last year it was pretty much anytime during the working day, early morning and evening up to 11pm. Have a page checker in place or keep an eye on here.
  17. It's not Glastonbury without The Egg. They normally crop up somewhere else as well as Glade though.
  18. Maybe some truth in this, back in the late 90s I encountered crews of scousers working the gates to get punters in without tickets - weren't security but could have had links.
  19. Go for this one then - https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-mh100-xl-3-p-freshandblack/_/R-p-331796 - I have one of these too and use it for Glasto. They do a more expensive pop up version as well but this one is really easy to put up.
  20. We have the non-F&B, non-inflatable 4.1 and it's huge and heavy. How many are you planning on sleeping in it? It's probably overkill for 2 or less.
  21. There was an announced resale last year after the ticket resale plus there were some sizeable unannounced drops nearer the festival. I got a place a couple of weeks before last year.
  22. I have this one and can recommend for 1 (or 2 people with limited kit) - https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-mh100-xl-3-p-freshandblack/_/R-p-331796
  23. The Glade, even with no announcements so far.
