  1. Yes there is, make sure you park in one of the car parks on the east side of the festival - otherwise it's a very long walk. You can get wristbanded at Ped Gate C once the festival fates open on Weds.
  2. You can park up in a festival car park on Tuesday too and access the campervan fields. Just make sure you park somewhere on the east side of the festival site.
  3. Even I know who Peggy Gou is and i've hardly got my finger on the pulse of modern music.
  4. She's normally billed as Faithless DJ Set whenever i've seen her.
  5. Similar to Leftfield last year, but yeah odd - a short Orbital set in daylight does not excite me, glad i'm seeing them twice elsewhere this year before the festival.
  6. None, but that's fine with me. Don't really like massive crowds (but would go if it's something i'm really into) so am more than happy seeing stuff on the other stages. Not seeing a Pyramid headliner isn't going to affect how much I enjoy the festival, i'm much more interested in the electronic acts ad DJs on the likes of the Glade, SEC and Silver Hayes anyway.
  7. I don't like rushing around to see this, that and the other all over the site in the heat either. Quite happy with a headliner I want to see each day, a few must sees dotted around the line up, a load of 'maybe if i'm in the area' acts and a lot of wandering around a chilling wherever I fancy.
  8. Not sure tbh, level of rammage depends on who else is playing - if they're up against Justice it may not be too bad.
  9. I don't know that many names on the line up, but then I never do as I don't keep up with music these days like I used to in my teens and early 20s. There are a good few that I know and i'll check out though. These days i'm most interested in the late night electronic music/DJ line up so i'm sure i'll be happy.
  10. They always play a good selection of classics but I reckon it'll just be a selection from those albums - but there are plenty of classics on those records though. Realistically the set will probably only be an hour, that's only like 8 Orbital tunes. How possible do you reckon a 2nd set in the SEC, Glade or Arcadia is? No Underworld on the line up yet despite them being active and making their way down the country on the Friday and Saturday, what are the chances of them as Glade Sunday headliner?
  11. Disclosure have somehow passed me by, but listening to them this morning has got me excited for their set. Need to explore Justice next, I did catch the start of their set last time they played and remember it sounded amazing - was with my wife who's not into electronic music otherwise i'd have stayed.
  12. I suspect Park might be Orbital into Peggy Gou, like the Leftfield into Fatboy run last year.
  13. Seems that way. Love Orbital but not sure I can get excited by an hour set in the daylight. Maybe we'll see them play somewhere else too? I imagine at least a Phil DJ set is likely somewhere.

They have quite a few really good tunes. I'd not listened to them for years but had a bit of a revival last year. First 2 albums are great.

Yeah, let's have Kingmaker 4AD along this year - not sure they'll be headlining anywhere though.
  16. Yeah swimming's a great low impact sport and is good for muscles all over your body. I started swimming loads over Covid and have kept it up and noticed enduring the festival much easier especially on my back later into the festival.
  17. I'd be very surprised if you could get away with listening to podcasts or watching your phone while on an Oxfam shift, they don't even like you to sit down when working.

Who pays for the infrastructure to broadcast those other live channels to your TV set?

You don't have to pay it, you're welcome to cancel your direct debit or whatever anytime. Problem is you like to use the service, so expect a knock, or letter through your door from Postman Pat, with a summons or penalty charge if you keep using the service without paying. Do you think you should be able to use BBC services for free?
  21. Ah ok, fair enough - didn't think of that.
  22. Surely if it was going to be Saturday or Sunday she'd have said 'next weekend' not 'next week'?
  23. Pretty sure can each pay their ticket off themselves, no need to collect money from them.
  24. I'm not sure how well it's known on here but Love Trails festival they mention on their page is a trail running festival held in South Wales, not a music festival.
  25. I think with Oxfam it definitely pays to be on a busy pedestrian gate rather than quiet location that has very little traffic and therefore little to do. I did my first Oxfam volunteering last year and I was on VG5 for the 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm shift and a 'pedestrain crossing' between PGB and the Oxfam camp for my overnight shift. The VG5 shifts had traffic going through but there were loads of us and most of the work is handled by the dedicated [paid] vehicle team so there was a lot of standing about not doing much. The overnight shift at the 'pedestrian crossing' was deathly boring - barely any traffic to protect pedestrians from and as we were outside the fence there weren't loads of people coming through anyway. I'd much rather have been stationed somewhere much busier, but I was just glad to be there to be honest.
