  1. Yes, seeing the fence starting to appear is a great sight.
  2. Still on the archive footage. Hopefully back soon
  3. I see Tim Minchin is touring the UK over the winter. Such a tremendous versatile talent Love to see him on the farm but I suppose he’s too big a name for the Cabaret tent.
  4. Great photo, when we met him as we wandered through the site he was kind enough to take a photo with me and a quick chat about where we came from , he asked about how far I’ve to drive the next day , had I tickets and see you next June! Disappointed he didn’t say it would be the best ever! A lovely gracious man
  5. We found that area and the Tolpuddle tree woods the quietest parts of the site.
  6. Just saying with the free movement of people throughout the same country it would be common sense to have the same app .
  7. You’ve tried the rest, now try the best. Millions of Scots can’t be wrong
  8. I’ve been through three apps so far, the English one, the Scottish one and the one on Jersey. Never been pinged once but then realised you need to delete the apps not relevant to where you are or it won’t work. Then relnstall the app where you are. Why the hell they can’t have the same app is beyond me. And I can’t get a digital vaccine record either. Up here we’ve to apply for a paper certificate which is posted to you. Probably inscribed In copperplate writing on dried goatskin.
  9. Ah don’t know, some folks minds nowadays! And by the way I’ve got a non nonce certificate , more than most have on here😉.
  10. How’s things this weekend? I would imagine the place is busy and everyone wandering about identifying the various fields. A must is the stone circle at dusk but take a rug, i got bit on the arse by something creepy crawly. And let the kids see the dragon.
  11. It’s a helluva lot cheaper as it's aCo-op. But the camp-shop is handy and stocked with the essentials.

    ABBA

Yes I understand that’s what it is. These things are usually reserved for those who are already dead such as Elvis!

    A hologram ‘tour’.
  14. Enjoy! Bet you visit every corner of the site!
  15. That’s what we found. It was reminiscent of those occasional times at the festival when you’ve had enough of the frenetic atmosphere seeing bands and you just wander into the quieter areas, sit down with a drink and maybe chat with a stranger. The stone circle at dusk with the fire lit and kids toasting marshmallows, we felt so chilled out.
  16. Regret not taking our kids to Glastonbury though things are a lot more kid friendly now than they we’re a few decades ago. It’s great seeing the decorated lit carts occupied by grinning 4 year olds munching crisps being dragged around the farm by happy but exhausted parents! Thing is, these incredible memories will live with them forever.
  17. Great photos. The first blue tent in your top photo with the wind break round it was ours! Jersey ground.
  18. Great photos. I reckon I’ve taken more or less exactly the same ones ! It was great to get into see the dragon and have a quiet seat there without it being busy.
  19. Just back from the site, it’s ready to welcome us. 100%
  20. Just read this thread, All the best to you and a speedy recovery
  21. incredible moon rise over the site now!
