Must admit I prefer the photos I take of the area to the pathetic attempt by theBBC, A run down cafe and a ferry in the distance instead of the Arran hills and interesting local characters such as me -

Not happy. 😡. Watching Vigil last night and they’ve cut the part where I did a walk past when they were filming it. The bit where the policewoman was interviewing the sailor with the crutch. It was filmed on our foreshore. I did everything right, ignored the camera, just walked naturally and didn’t shout hello mum or stuck two fingers up at the camera. Maybe the Glastonbury beanie hat put them off. -

That’s interesting, I know of 18 people who have paid the deposit, though not part of any group. Been monitoring them from afar (nothing creepy, just doing it on behalf of those ticketless e festers). Twelve including ourselves are definitely going, fully committed, four arnt going due to various circumstances but only two have asked for deposits back, think that’s due to them also needing the cash back for Sticklinch camping. The other two reckon they won’t go, not a happy couple. So the real possibility of six back in the pot.

Us hordes of long haired RAF coat wearing teenagers with the beginnings of bum fluff growing on our chins earnestly discussing the latest Yes or Zeppelin album or who was going to get the Floyd tickets was a sight to behold. The coolest guys in school. And we all secretly watched TOTP for a glimpse of ABBA.

It’s ironic that in the 70s when I would have had the chance to see ABBA live (when they phoned last night from Glasgow!) I was into heavy and prog rock . If I had dared suggest ABBA to my mates I would have been totally humiliated. Now I’m excited about a hologram and a new album! Times change.
