  1. Every year I’m threatened with the Glasto Latino thing. Don’t mind a late night boogie to a Latin band after a few drinks but not one of those lessons, in the daylight and making a dick of myself trying to samba in wellies. Mrs c will eventually win out. As for the big pyramid crowds she is the same, prefers closer to the back of the field which actually isn’t too bad with the excellent sound system now.
  2. Me and Mrs c sit down with the clashfinder pre festival and do some serious negotiation but the plans never come to fruition. Usually derailed by seeing something unexpectedly good at a smaller stage. With the years passing we now avoid the charging from one stage to another trying to fit into many bands. Never did the go the separate way thing. Pacing yourself means the day lasts longer and the late night wanderings more enjoyable
  3. Like the flaming lips, park stage 17?
  4. Must admit when I saw the Lips on telly it looked tremendous and would have loved to see them. Glastonbury clashes, part of the experience!
  5. That’s a shame, you should have checked a clash finder. I know with only over 80 other stages the choice is limited. Weren’t Status Quo doing an unplugged set on the acoustic, complete with banjos and accordions if that’s more your thing? 😉😁. Can’t beat a bit of quo going folky to relieve mind numbing boredom. That Radiohead set, to be serious, did divide opinion.
  6. It’s nearly midnight, Watching Radiohead on the pyramid 2017. Just brings back tremendous memories. Once it had finished we just wandered about the site for a few hours. One of those Glastonbury experiences that are unique to the place. For a minute there I lost myself
  7. Well done Cameron Norrie. Scottish mum , Welsh Dad, London based, born in South Africa, raised in New Zealand. Though your mum is the most important person so he’s a Scot😉😁
  8. Agreed. The shit thread became, well, shit.... so still 100% for me
  9. Still in that optimistic camp myself. The virus isn’t going away. This is something we are going to have to learn to live with in conjunction with the vaccinations, increased personal hygiene and public awareness. We can’t continue cancelling events year on year.
  10. Yes, anytime we visited we just stuck to the gravel paths and roadways avoiding the fields, respecting the country code. Others seemed to be doing the same. Would love to see the camera back up working, can’t see it being too much of an intrusion as it points away from the farm and buildings. Unless the cows are shy and don’t like the publicity.
  11. And I second that with my 100%, there may be proof of vaccination or negative testing needed and increased hygiene/hand sanitising measures in place. We just need to get through this winter.
  12. Isn’t the south west where thousands of tests were wrongly tested as negative? That wouldn’t have helped the statistics.
  13. Saw you described as a veterinarian runner and I thought 44 isn’t that old, certainly not a veteran! Doooooh!
  14. Yes, he said Coldplay wouldn’t play but didn’t rule himself out🤔
  15. Always been in there, apart from a solitary 0.1% reduction a few months ago. 100%
  16. What’s he doing with that? Is he a kidnapper? 😉
  17. Isnt the camera collaboration with the BBC? Though I suppose if the reason it’s off is to respect the privacy of the farm, as it says, then it’s them who will decide if it’s to be reinstated. Really missing it at the moment.
  18. Are they still going? Amazing. I saw them as the support act for Alice Cooper in 1972!
  19. Sitting with a few pints in the sunshine, heading home tomorrow. Been a smashing weeks weather here
  20. It’s good, go on yourself you Fukin dancer. An individual’s expression of excitement and anticipation which might not be shared by all
  21. Coldplay playing Glasgow in August. As Gerry. Cinnamon would say, Gaun yirsel ya fuckin dancer
  22. Just secured two pre sale tickets for Sam fender in Glasgow next March. Would expect to see him on the farm as well!
  23. Was at a football game recently and folk travelling from outside Scotland just had proof of double vax and ID Wasn’t an issue, I’ve got the QR code on an app and a paper copy. Can’t see you having any problems Of course it would make common sense if we had a UK approach to this and would save a lot of bother
