I mean it's not really about the "art" of music. I looked up this band, they were formed by some cooperate music business in SK who wanted 17 members but could only get 13 so they just went with that. All the songs are written by Swedish people apparently? Who also write songs for a lot of other Kpop groups. The whole thing is bizarre

The whole K Pop thing scares the crap out of me to be honest. The fans seem way to invested on a personal level in the bands and it all just feels, a bit too much and potentially unhealthy.

They aren’t this stupid there must be more stuff on in Park, Silver Hayes etc to spread the crowd. I’ve zero interest anyway so I’ll be somewhere else.

They packed out West Holts in 2016 putting them on the Glade would likely be unsafe. I don’t think they’re playing unless they do a TBA somewhere. Surely they’d be on the main poster.

They’ve been given the Pyramid sub slot of death but I’ll still be up the front where hopefully the crowd will be into it.

Doubt they’ll show it on any of the main stage screens but I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the bars put up projectors and show it. What % of people at the festival would actually want to watch it I wonder?

This thread pops up every year even though the area has undergone fairly significant change in the years I've been going. Shangri La is a bit tired I suppose but I agree with the above UFG has to stay. I really wish they could find the cash to rebuild / refurbish the old Genosys and bring it back. Give me that and I won't ask for anything else.
