I fly over Tuesday evening, hotel in Bristol and a bus to the site around 9am next morning. Usually in with tent pitched by lunchtime queue moves quickly. My group and I have no interest in oxlyers or pennards for camping, which is the only reason to queue overnight, we aim for rivermead or around there. I don’t fly back to Ireland afterwards I go to my parents in south of France for 5 days of R@R, then back to Ireland and back to work.

I’m 31 and wouldn’t consider it. If I was 21 maybe. When was the last time you did a full all nighter followed by a 5 day bender?

The Spider just gets so packed that it's really hard to get underneath which is where the best sound is, got stuck in a massive crush there last year which put me off it, they may have made the field larger but id bet they haven't made the system any louder.

Is that a California? On the one I used to have (2007 model) the awning is attached to the roof so you can just leave it rolled up if you don't want to use it?

Not in a million years would I do this. Fcuk the camping spot I don't to start my festival wrecked from already missing sleep. Maybe if I was 10 years younger I might.

It would be so busy I probably wouldn't bother. Me and one of my friends got stuck in an awful crush at the bottom of the park last year, near the entrance to Arcadia.

Sounds like they are better set up for the heat than Glasto anyway. An AC tent would have been a godsend in recent years.

Frank Puddle’s music career is surely finished after this latest stunt, hard to see why anyone would book him or even buy a ticket to one of his gigs now. Awful way to treat your fans.

As long as the demand is strong enough to sell it out 5 times over I think it'll be ok.
