that being said, i do think we have at least progressed in the 1 day format - i just dont give a shit - why have a burger when you can have steak?

as far as im concerned 1 day and 20/20 has been/always will froth compared to the real thing - theres a reason it's called TEST cricket!!

You cant read too much into the match, we had no incentive to win. We are going to play pakistan or australia, it doesnt really make much difference which, we will be underdogs against both. By losing we eliminate sri lanka who are on their dayas good as anyone while new zealand are perenial semi finalists.

We've got a real chance in this series. Not sure about bringing Bell back in though

got to bowl well this morning - if we can start well, bodes well for the rest of the series

getting greg smith out's a big wicket.

much as i like ian bell (i have been a big supporter of his for a long time) he's 27 now.

has to be time for him to deliver or start looking at someone younger having a go
