Instead of muting the TV, you should turn all the sounds in the options down to zero. You gen an achievement if you complete a song like that... think it may have to be on expert though!

how do these xbox achievement work - do they get you points which you can spend in the store or something or are they just for bragging rights?

bragging rights, but it is a nice feeling when the "achievement unlocked" notification pops up, its maybe a little bit pavlovian in that respect.

The best achievement points were in the simpsons game "20 points for pressing Start" at the beginning of the game was hilarious

Crackdown and Mass Effect have the best achievements I think. Crackdowns are just brilliant fun while Mass Effect really brings out how consistent and yet rather varied it is.

I think "arcade shooter" is a good description really. I actually found it a bit frantic, and didnt really like the feel of the controls.

I played the 360 demo and thought it seemed pretty good, not overwhelmingly ace or owt but might be good fun.

I was being heckled by our lass and her mate though at the time "what's the point of it then?" "why are they tring to kill you?"

The non-storyishness of it didn't compute with them, still go it installed so might have to give it a blast without the audience.

Doubt it'll be one i'd buy at full price but then few games are for me really.

Still not gotten around to getting PGR4 yet, might not end up getting it actually as burnout looks sooooo good
