This said, I am utterly stumped as to who it could be. Beartooth seem ripe for a high-end slot, but they've only got shows of their own this October - including Leeds.

Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)

I missed this year. First one post pandemic that I haven't done. Me and the cuz are definitely doing next year, and I was asking him who he thinks might rock up. Avril Lavigne was the one that we seemed to agree on. Funeral for a Friend doing Tales Don't Tell Themselves might be a shout.

Avril is the massive crowd pleaser headliner that would sell well on her own. 
 

MGK as lead act would probably be a don’t buy tickets and do a day at trees instead for our group. Given second stage will be heavier and not our sort of thing. 

 Turnstile would be class. I’ve wondered before if there’s enough crossover for an Idles performance but would think not quite right.

To me MGK doesn't shift tickets, but could appeal to a younger demographic. 

 

Don Broco/Architects/Jimmy Eat World/Turnstile - one or two of these would hit better.
