Going there for the first time this year. Any recommondations? How easy is it to get back into the city after the Festival?

Last year they had a shuttle service from 23h30 and reinforcement of normal bus services, that worked really well.

Heres a guide from last year.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our travel due to a major surgery of my mother. The ticket will be sent to you through the Fever app after having received your payment.
Pm me if interested.

Some minor headaches on the first two days. Oklou vs Big Thief on thursday and Viagra Boys vs BCNR on friday.

But overall pretty happy with everything and really can't wait for festival to come.

Also, it's looks like it will be a tough saturday for me since i really like the two spanish bands that starts early on and wanting to check Model/Actriz as the last act.

But as i said, all fine and all manageable, just as i wanted it to be.

Agreed, the Oklou vs Big Thief is a shame (i will favour BT), whilst i Viagra Boys vs BCNR feels an easy decision for me as VB more my cup of tea.

The three Primavera stage late slots will be great. Not sure i'll have the staying power for three really late nights in a row so probably wont see Ninajirachi but very keen to see Joey Valance and Model/Actriz - the latter i'm really excited for.

I expected Big Thief and Jade to headline the Vodafone stage so interesting to see them subbing for the main stage headliners, along with Slowdive.

These are my main issues too - also Water From Your Eyes are getting an unlucky placing directly against Gorillaz.

The Saturday is more sparse for me so could have done with those clashes being spread out across the weekend but looking like a decent schedule for the three days as a whole.

Oklou vs Big Thief is horrible, but I am seeing Oklou later this year again, so I will choose Big Thief.

Also, Baxter Dury is great live, and I was really looking forward to William Mark Lewis, so that is another tough one 😞

But lucky for those of us who love WFYE and have had the misfortune of being bored rigid by Gorrilaz live before.

Whoever put Ethel Cain and TITR on at the same time will feel my wrath

Just a quick question for the regulars.

Do you need to get a special ticket for the shuttles after the festival day or the regular ticket from andante card works?

Also is the entrance to the festival near the Anemona roundabout or somewhere else?

It's "near" there but it's a bit of a trek to the actual entrance that catches me by surprise ever year, mostly walking in a drain

Yes sorry i was saying that the entrance to the bus stop is on that roundabout.

The queue to the festival entrance starts down there - it can take a long time if you hit it at the wrong time, and there are no toilets!!

We're probably going to be there around 5pm + we're going to get the wristbands on wednesday, so probably not going to catch the big traffic. Thank you both for the tips.

though important to check people's hands; most of the time they're queueing for day wristbands. if you already have a weekend one go straight to the front
