BBQ meat of significantly more appeal than the music 😄 volunteering when there isnt a stellar lineup really isnt bad though, no FOMO at all when its just bootscooting and whingeing youre dipping out on

If it were on this year, this would be about the time i'd be in the oxfield, tent up and sorted, and would almost certainly be in the queue for my accreditation so i can go wandering round the site! I'd have a little bag of drinks, a blanket to put down, and would have my heart set on Woodsies for the shady bits and a little afternoon nap

Oxfam have just opened up some more spaces for Wilderness next week if anyone fancies joining me! 🙂 

 

You'd have to be onsite by 18:00 next Weds.

I checked the spreadsheet and saw nothing, but do Scouts usually have volunteers on site? I could swear I've seen them before, but maybe thinking of an Irish festival.

I don't remember seeing any anywhere

There might be something small for a local scout troop maybe?

I've just seen this now...what do you reckon that Monday thunderstorm that flooded Glastonbury town would've done to the Oxfield a little after you wrote this 😂

 Ha! 😁 it would’ve done one of two things; entertained me greatly assuming I was under cover somewhere, or caused me to swear spectacularly as I got soaking bloody wet - either is fine with me!
