Have a look at who played in 2023, that’ll give you a good idea.

I'd love to call you out on this one but....yeah, probably. I love the place for personal reasons beyond the music as it's huge part of having reconnected with my brother over recent years, but it's not going to throw any real surprises out there.

The main variety is probably in the Big Top, feels more likely to see a different lineup in there than at the top of the main stage.

Understand, but I was involved in doing the program layout and design for around 10 years. I kinda know how they work

Is the BT booked differently? With the exception of the Levs acoustic opener that always feels like it has more year on year variety

Only in that they tend to book friends of the Levellers a lot, and bands managed by DMF (the festival organisers), see how often Dreadzone appear for example.

They’re not that imaginative with bands on the main stage, which rivals The Pyramid for people camping out all day, including the legendary “great wall of camping chairs (allegedly visible from space).

The Big Top acts are maybe a bit more eclectic and of course there’s the token dance venue, The Little Big Top (presumably introduced to placate the few youth who attend).

Nothing hugely standout, pretty much a standard BDs.

Made my peace with the fact that if I go it's because it's a nice place to spend 4 days with my brother than because it's a lineup I'm going to be excited by.  And that's fine. If I do end up going, I'll have a decent enough time. If I don't, I won't feel like I've missed out.

I agree. My wife and kids come to this one now and I'm glad there's plenty on there which they'll also like.

It's a better line-up than I worried it would be

I think that's it. It's not a lineup that I'd buy a ticket for, but it's also not one that would make me say there's no way I'm going.

I now view it as 4 days sat around drinking cider, eating decent food and chewing the fat with some music in the background. And I could cobble together 3 acceptsble days out of that lot.

But, and I say this as a Levs fan of pushing 30 years, I do think it's time they reconsidered the Sunday night!

As a long time Levs fan I would rather see them headline the Friday and do the acoustic thing (with B sides and guests) on the Sunday at noon - I'm knackered after 2 days now 👍

Can't wait, he was superb last time

Saw him there in 2017, and he put in a great show. Must've covered a fair few miles bopping around on the stage. Did a lovely cover of Julie too.

Love this lineup. Loads for me to go and see. Better than last years and I had a blast in 2024! very excited for this. Somehow I have missed out on the Meffs and Millie Manders up until now and quite frankly what the hell have I been doing? They are awesome.

It definitely looks like a "usual" BD lineup but then it has a few hidden gems on the undercard. I think you're always going to have a good time at Beautiful Days. I just love the size of the festival too. Blister free!

That's good it's a good one for you, always nice to see people excited by a lineup!
