Could definitely see tomorrow being a big pop day though

Lola young and wet leg are already confirmed now for main stage tomorrow so I would only expect 3 or 4 decent sized names including the headliner.

It’s looking like it will most likely be a female pop headline , there are a lot of complaints on Instagram about the lack of female names .

Could we be seeing something like

Chappell Roan / Wet Leg / Olivia Dean / Lola Young / Jungle

Jungle aren't coming,  he said yesterday that anyone he had played before the announcement wouldn't be on it and Back on 74 was played directly beforehand.

Lola & Wet Leg will certainly be main stage. The question is who the headliner will be.

Given this is seemingly a much weaker year than the last few years, I would bet on Charli xcx, as she's big but not absolutely massive.

Actually we could be in for a shout of JADE and Rizzle Kicks as Jade said they are doing both doing some of the same festivals this summer

Seen a lot of rumours surrounding JADE so I would expect that to be the case.

Fri/Sat are heavily male weighted so there is a reason to believe that Sunday could be a 'female' weighted day, something like Mighty Hoopla in London, especially with Wet Leg and Lola Young being held out for the Sunday.

JADE is definitely up there in with a chance, also Pixie Lott.

The other possibility for the headliner is Kesha, no one has really been mentioning her but she's around at the end of May and beginning of June in the UK.

I think that is only in correlation to that days lineup because I could have sworn he also played acts like Jordan Adetunji yesterday

Could it be JADE main stage and Rizzle Kicks as New Music Stage headliner that seems like it could work

Baffling. I don’t think I’ve heard Radio 1 support him at all over the years, other than playing Another Love once it went viral.

A Main Stage slot?! Either they’re pulling out a big headliner and a lot of these names are same PR company and used as a bargaining chip “You can have xxxx but you also need to book Tom Odell and Artemas”, or it’s just a weak year for them.

I believe they playlisted Tom's 'Black Friday', which went viral last year.

Definitely think tomorrow will have more females because over the two days announced so far we only have

Jazzy

Nia Archives

Katy B

(some of) Wolf Alice

(some of) Confidence Man

Which given the years female artists have had that feels completely baffling

Have they playlisted Kesha recently? Dont get me wrong I would love that lineup SO MUCH but I dont know if its in keeping with R1

No they haven’t it’s just she’s around and I think based on the current line up I’m not sure if they have enough capacity to be booking Olivia Rodrigo.

The line up is considerably weaker than last year, even on the undercard and bbc sounds there are way less well-known names.

Olivla is free on that weekend

Yeah but she has no european dates around that time and is playing in the US early June. Seems unlikely shes in Europe and very unlikely to come over just for one big weekend gig

Also based on the current line up being weaker than last year I would say that it won’t be Olivia , they must be struggling with bookings or budget or a combination of both.

Charli is a lot more likely as her US leg is over , although she played last year. Didn’t stop them putting Tom grennan as headliner though.

    • First forecasts claim that though it gets cooler on the weekend (33C-ish), heatwave will be back by Monday. They expect at least 37-38C for next week, they don't know if it goes up to 40 degrees or not. Going to be tough.
    • Already notified me last night. There is always the chance from the waiting list but from my experience, I either win the ballot or miss out. I have never been offered tickets from a wait list for Blue Lights. Had them a few times from Concert For Carers. Hopefully, others on here will have better luck.   We're sorry, but unfortunately, your name has not been selected for All Points East - Deftones (Outbreak) - Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Victoria Park, London on 23 Aug 2026 at 1:30 pm on this occasion. We'll add you to the waiting list, and we’ll be in touch if tickets become available.
    • Agreed. She was in self-promotion mode. Something big could be anything to an artist who already knows what's planned. People have just applied Glastonbury to it, even though the artist might not have been thinking about Glastonbury at all.  She never hinted at it being Glastonbury in any way shape or form.
    • The Pyramid is long overdue a rethink. It looks archaic in this day and age
    • With a good undercard and sensible pricing it might be doable. Took a long time for the Sunday at Tramlines to sell out though. Hopefully now they'd have some good footage from this year's shows to help with the promo.
