I haven't been to Latitude for a few years, but am looking at getting Sunday day tickets this year. Do the headliners finish at the same time these days. Would like to see all of Snow Patrol but also want to catch some of Air if possible? Thanks

Here are the last few years... So not the most conclusive on what's going to happen this year I'm afraid 😂

They've just posted this on their Insta looking back specifically at the Sunrise and it seems to imply they're announcing more acts for it soon. Last year did another announcement at the end of February so it would match up roughly to this Thursday so I'd guess we'll get Sunrise names and a few more from the Obelisk and tent too

In January, the 'more coming soon' teaser arrived a day prior to the 'Announcement tomorrow..' post so I'd agree that we are likely to find out some more this week! Sunrise always seems to house the most interesting acts!

Absolutely uninspired by 90% of the 'major' names- just so bland and unimaginative. Especially seeing what the likes of Bearded Theory and Green Man have come up with!

But, have committed to going with a big group of friends so we are where we are. Can people post recommendations for any hidden gems lower down the bill? Last year we loved Fat Dog and Welly and generally open to anyone witty, heavy, beautiful, clever and/or energetic.

Already into Lambrini Girls (who will, typically, clash with Air). Love PSB.

Got a lot of listening to do myself but jasmine.4.t is my pick of the Sunrise names - album released this year produced by Boygenius and definitely of that ilk.

I've just finished making a playlist of all acts so far (5 songs each) so hopefully this has some gold in it!

Sunday looking really great for me after todays announcement, but appreciate it seems very 'samey' that day but they are all acts I love, Elbow, Snow Patrol, Air and now Doves (albeit without Jimi sadly). On top of this WH Lung have been added who are brilliant, one of my fave bands over the past few years, really great live and anyone who hasn't seen them should definitely check them out, brilliant addition to the line up

A nice few additions there!

In the absence of official running orders I'm going to roughly guess it'll go as followed:

Friday

Obelisk - Sting, Basement Jaxx, Maribou State, Scouting For Girls, Billy Bragg, Matilda Mann, TBA

Tent - Sigrid, Feeder, Alessi Rose, Sprints, The Royston Club, Remember Monday, The Kifness

Saturday

Obelisk - Fatboy Slim, Kaiser Chiefs, Clean Bandit, Example, Kingfishr, Jade Bird, MRCY

Tent - Leon Bridges, Public Service Broadcasting, TBA, Amble, Sorry, Nofun, TBA

Sunday

Obelisk - Snow Patrol, Elbow, Mika, Alison Moyet, Infinity Song, Buena Vista, TBA

Tent - Air, Doves, Pale Waves, Palace, Lapsley, Hamish Hawk, The War and Treaty

I am not sure who is headlining the Second stage on Sunday, I had thought it was Air from the previous announcements, but the local rag says its Doves now and it it would be bonkers to put Doves up against Elbow as both are so similar in terms of history, background and style of music, so it makes more sense to be Doves headlining the second stage now... They were both my favourite bands between 2002 to 2008

I had a similar article saying Mika was headlining which doesn't seem the case, Air also have top billing still on the poster so I'd imagine they're still the Sunday headliners. Elbow and Doves clashing is an odd choice so maybe they're on a bit earlier and not subbing

These seem great, thanks for the tip. Love a bit of synth!

Sprints and Honeyglaze worth checking out. I also have Lambrini Girls as a must see.

Alanis playing the O2 on 27th July. She's currently free on Fri/Sat... really hoping that brief Ticketmaster listing of her being at Latitude might come to pass! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

She'd be a brilliant booking but I just can't see where she'd fit in? She'd be a far better/more credible headliner than FBS or SP and I'd imagine as she's got other dates it would have been announced by now. I'm fully of the opinion she was booked with the dates at the moment so the ticketmaster leak was right but pulled out so they had to do a last minute change

Mind you they did book Solange to headline over Liam Gallagher in 2018 so it's not entirely impossible she does a secret set or something

If she can be booked 3rd down at Glastonbury then she can some Latitude. I agree on the credible point but that doesn't always transcend. I really like the top line, Basement Jaxx is a great booking too but Kaiser Cheifs in that spot while they play everywhere and the undercard is weak. But given Basement are technically the closing DJ, Alanis could be the 'sub' Friday

If they follow the pattern we should be getting more names on Thursday. I'd imagine they'll announce the Alcove and the last few remaining names on the 3 main stages too

We've got an act left on Friday and Sunday om the Obelisk, 2 left on Saturday in the tent and on Sunrise they're pretty much full on Friday but Saturday has about 4 more to announce and Sunday 2 more

Would recommend 2 Irish bands: Sprints and Cliffords. Looking forward to seeing what additions the Alcove brings!

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
