Weren't there loads of Black Parade references earlier this year?

Not really. Andy Copping tagged a dog plush as #theblackparade or something like that as it was a similar style but the headliners were already long since announced so some assumed they were the secret set for some reason! Nothing like the main Download page posting a hint towards a famous lyric and photoshopping a photo in their colour scheme after the band themselves have been announced at other festivals and leaked as playing Download here!

Sleep Token supporting Linkin park in Paris in November.

I've had a feeling Sleepy T were going to be at Download but not headlining. Just think it's too soon for Download to take a punt on them and they'd want a more gradual rise. Subbing Linkin Park makes so much sense.

I'm going to go Linkin Park - Green Day - Pearl Jam as my final prediction

France has no bearing on Download. Sleep Token subbing makes no sense for the band who don't really like playing in daylight.

Paris ain't their home turf where they've practically sold out 7 arenas. They'll be there in a headline slot or not there (but they'll be there).

Would like to imagine they've got LP but the more time passes the more I think they've missed LP and Reading+Leeds have them instead, could still be though.

Nothing of those dates suggests Download would be out.

What dates, this year's tour..? No, wouldn't have any impact at all, it's more piecing together of info from a few people who either definitely or might know things. Not saying it's off the table as things obviously change but right now I'm leaning towards them doing Leeds + Reading instead based on a few factors.

You got a source?

Fella mentioned it on the DL forums who has known stuff in the past. Just posted a simple ‘Frank Carter & The Sex Pistols will be there.’

I think third down Green Day day personally but wouldn’t be too shocked if they had them sub.

I'm very unsure on them now with the latest Turbo info. It's definitely nothing against him but that's all I had to suggest there was another festival and other info was wrong.

Sleep Token | Green Day | Korn is a trio I can very much get behind, and I think will sell very well despite some concerns here and on the DL forums.

Me too. Very happy with that trio. Stick something good against Green Day so I can wander off when I get bored and it’ll be golden.

It will go down better than last year, I’m sure of that. Sleepy T fans will fly in from all over for it, Green Day sit at the very top table of massive touring bands and KoRn always pull a headline sized crowd. It’ll be received just fine, I think.

Hello, this is me 🤣

It's not concrete on Download to be fair, but they're playing 20 festivals in 2025 so I'd be stunned if Download wasn't one.

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
