Now that’s all over - who are some names we could see in 2024

would be cool to see the 1975 do it after 2020s cancellation. could also see hozier, the chemical brothers, the killers, or dua lipa headline since they all have albums coming out soon (although I’m aware the last 2 maybe still too big for boardies)

Dua Lipa is far too big - Killers would be their biggest ever headliner too but they did do Latitude a few years back so it is possible

Bicep, Sam Fender, Muse

I think as a trio this is probably the absolute upper limit of what they could get. Two very solid Reading MSE headliners there

Who do we think.

I think  an announcement could be due to arrive soon.

I hope it’s not a dance headliner like Fred again because I find dance acts as a headliner a little underwhelming like disclosure in 2022 but I did enjoy chase and status and deadmau5 in 2016. I wpild prefer someone like marina or Katy Perry . I would also like some sort of hip hop or rnb headlinwr like 50 cent or wu tang or skepta but not going a dj set instead rapping like he used to. I am very excited

Wouldn't rule Fred Again.. out at this point, think most large festivals will be doing anything they can to get him.

I reckon something like:

Kasabian or Hozier

Fred Again.. or Chase & Status (Live)

and then a curveball of some form. Seems too soon to bring Jorja Smith back, then also, some of their bookings recently have been huge gets for them; quite a hard one to predict, but very interested to see who they manage to get for next year.

i agree: something like kasabian - Fred again - muse or something similar wouldn’t surprise me at all

Hozier feels like he could with the big London show.

Will lean towards The Prodigy too, given they've got IOW.

Not sure Hozier is very in demand for 50,000 ketty teenagers mate

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
