Wasn't there something in previous years about stages not being allowed to advertise they had live music on the Wednesday, or have I imagined that?  I remember there being a lot more going on music-wise on Wednesday last year than the listings suggested.

There was. Beans on Toast wasn't allowed to say he was performing on the Bandstand on Thursday so sent a photo of the chalkboard with his name on to several unofficial Glastonbury accounts and asked them to share it.

I really hope they've just agreed to timetable all the little bands on Wednesday with the council, assuming there has been no formal change though in notes?.. If the bands are still playing anyway I don't see what difference it makes to noise as such, just means less audience for lots of bands,  but its not like there has ever been a huge name with a huge audience on a Wednesday Michael Eavis aside!

I love all the stages up there, Small World, Mandela, Toad Hall. It’s hit & miss on what you get but last year at the Mandela I had great fun seeing The Amazing Tiger - him on the photo - doing I quote ‘dynamic hip hop looper’.

Any recommendations from this year’s line up?
