Remember when Pharrell subbed Kanye and had a song where he invited some young fans on stage with him then suddenly all the males who made it up weren't there and it was just the girls. Classy guy.

Hate Kasabian with a vengeance, and a lot of it goes to experience at this gig. Had a good front barrier spot for The Boss when this gang of K 'fans' - thugs - spent most of the K set trying to elbow and manhandle me out of the way, questioning went I was even there, even physically threatening me. And some of them were barely out of nappies.

Similar experience for me. Not as near the front but it was knobhead soup where I was. They acted like a clarion call for every aggressive, beer throwing dicksplash in BA4 to gather and coalesce.

It's tough for me to pick between two.

2013. My first Glasto. I had only recently started listening to Nick Cave so I was excited to see him on the line-up, and I went down to the Pyramid field on my own to see the set and got a great spot. Needless to say, it was an other-worldly performance and really kicked my adoration of him into high gear. I'll never forget that.

2022. Sam Fender. My brother had been recommending him to me but I only really heeded it when the second album came out but it went on to soundtrack a pretty life-changing few months for me (got my dream job, got engaged) and I then saw him live in the March, and was going to Finsbury in July, but seeing them on that stage, smashing it, at the peak of my fandom, was very special indeed.

Lizzo is going to join this crowd this year, I know it.
