Yeah I think New Order could be a good shout. Playing Ally Pally tonight so would put them in the frame to be announced next week. Think I'd rather it be their own day though (if they're still doing that).

I deffo think they'll be playing Bluedot next year as well.

I think Bon Iver is next week, not trying to read into much stuff here but the APE Instagram starting liking the Bon Iver profile at the same point it did Primal Scream and a few other acts playing.

That does look like a dead giveaway, actually. In the last week they've followed all the acts announced so far, alongside Bon Iver, First Aid Kit and (yes!!!!) SOPHIE. Then there's Architects, Nothing But Thieves and While She Sleeps in the mix who would be very sensible picks for the rumoured BMTH day. This definitely adds up.

Again trying not to look too much into this but probably just filler artists to make it not seem too blatantly obvious who they're booking.

Bcos I was stalking this shit a week ago and they weren't there dude.

I can vouch for this too, especially them following Bon and the Ivers.

thatd make sense for the Bon Iver day. Bon Iver, John Grant, First Aid Kit, Snail Mail, Julien Baker, Sophie.

edit - Mac Demarco is on there too.

Where did you get Sophie from? She’d be well out of place among those, even if they share a fan base.

Mac popped up since I posted. So has ‘KOKOKO!’. Must be updating right now or something?

someone above in this thread said APE started following Sophie on instagram at the same time they started following all the currently announced acts and Bon Iver

Oh right. Would still expect her to be on a different day from these predominantly folk and indie rock types.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
