Corona has stopped the film industry almost completely so slots for a reading thing are more available than any other year. Not sure that many people would really be bothered though

I guess it's likely, as they'll have the broadcast slots to fill.

With Glastonbury doing a "best sets" thing over five evenings, I wonder who we'll get. No doubt there'll be Foo Fighters, Metallica, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro, Foals, The 1975 and QOTSA all included.

Anyone up for doing some predictions? :D

I mean it hasn’t really had nearly as much cultural impact as Glastonbury has.

I can see them showing artists that aren’t featured in the Glastonbury ones.

1975 2019

Kings of Leon 2018

Kendrick Lamar 2018

Muse 2017

Kasabian 2017

Red Hot Chilli Peppers 2016

Biffy Clyro 2013/2016

Arctic Monkeys 2014

Foo Fighters 2012/2019

It probably won't be five nights, likely just three, but I'd imagine they'll do something to "fill the gap" either way.

Can see all those being included, plus The Strokes, Paramore, The Libertines, Green Day, Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots, Pulp, The Courteeners, Boy Better Know, BMTH, The Killers, The Prodigy and Disclosure all appearing too.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
