Oh no, don't throw the towel in.

A few dry and warm days this week with a nice breeze and we could still be ok.

The festival have previous good form for keeping things moving with wood chips etc.

I don't sense another 2014 in these forecasts. That year I read about the flood warnings for the Lake District before setting off on the Thursday morning.

Still all to play for.

I agree Comfy Bean. I've got three different weather apps and they all say something different. 

I've enjoyed this thread but I'll only trust the weather report on the Friday when we're setting off up the M6 !

Google forecast looks bad on the icons, but then says

Thursday - Showers - 50% chance rain

Friday - Showers - 50% chance rain

Saturday - Showers - 40% chance rain

Sunday - Partly Cloudy - 20% chance rain

My only concern is 100% chance rain on Wednesday - but still not expecting it to be like 2014

Was watching that one for Glastonbury and it was way out for every day. All the others were saying 24 for the Wednesday and this one said 16, turns out it was 31 in the end.

To be fair looking around the sites it seems that most are predicting a bit of rain every day, but it doesn't appear to be that heavy or last that long. Wednesday looks bad though so there could be a lot of wet ground with tractors and other vehicles driving over it before we start to arrive. 

Could be worse
