Dreams come true if thats the case.

Interesting placements on that graphic... does that mean we can expect someone alongside Radiohead and Foo Fighters still to come? Would be big acts if so!

no, i think it was meant to underline the co-headlining status of SOAD/linkin park and AF/KoL.

I think we will have a few other big names but not really headliner status. The killers' or other big band chance of being added is diminished. I think the max we could get is something like Pendulum (don't know if they have been mentioned as possibilities)

I'm assuming Lorde is Barn headliner on Thursday and James Blake on Friday, with O&TW subbing Radiohead.

That leaves us 1 Main Stage sub, 1 Barn headliner, 1 Main Stage dance closer (Thursday) and 4 KluB C headliner to come. So yes, we can still expect way bigger acts than Pendulum.

I did wonder that, shame if this really does rule out The Killers was hoping to see them there.

There seems to be a lack of a Weeknd/Frank Ocean/Childish Gambino-esque act, not really my sort of music but could one of them be likely now?

I know its probably been asked a good few times but is there anything much happening once the bands finish up?

There's an after party in a tent in The Hive camping (so you can enter only if you're In The Hive/Resort).

If you're not there you can drink beer everywhere :):)

around 80, I think. more than half of them are usually internationally well known acts.

It's not uncommon to see an important act playing on mainstage on around 3 o'clock, as I saw on previous timetables.

To me it's a fantastic announcement. Dropkick Murphys put a hell of a show at Hellfest last summer and they are better than they were in the past; Very happy with Future Islands too cause they are a wonderful band on stage, and The Lumineers got Ho Hey, which is one of the festival anthems of last years... This line-up is absolutely insane.

    • Any festival is going to face most of the same limitations just by the nature of the event. It's not realistic to accommodate custom staging that extends out deep into the field. Trying to do so and trying to rebuild those kind of structures at the front of the field every day would severely impact on other performers, potentially even including other headliners. It'd also drive everyone involved insane. The most you can get away with is a basic extension that doesn't hide anything fancy. Remember that a lot of the time on these big choreographed shows, the stage extension itself will contain all manner of things to help the show beyond just being a simple platform. Also remember that these structures are designed to be assembled and operate on perfectly flat stadium or arena floors.   In terms of the stage itself - yes, the Pyramid is undersized (I believe 16 metres wide at rigging level). The de facto industry standard has become 20 metres and so it likely does need increasing and apparently there are plans to do so. But that only helps with artists that can largely confine themselves to the stage.   The Other Stage is already 20 metres - to be exact the Other Stage structure is the same model that Serious Stages provide to Reading, Leeds, Download etc for use as their Main Stage and there's nothing larger (at least off the shelf) in their catalogue. So no reason to change that.
    • Can someone remind me, on Harry Styles specifically - have we had any concrete info on him?   I don't personally remember saying much/anything on him, though I have just been away for a month, so could be forgetting something.
