......yes honestly.  Smaller Avalon tent, positioned right up the front, could see & hear everything & he really knew how to work the crowd, gave a full on performance complete with Coldplay style confetti canons & massive audience participation balloons.  One big party.

I have seen his songs in a whole new light now & certainly never thought of them as big it up crowd singathon arms in the air material.  We Feel Joy was epic.  Tempted to see him again at the Victorious Festival.

Wanted to see him, got my times wrong and rolled up at 22.15, not 20.15. Oh well, would've clashed at the earlier time.

Is his set on catch up anywhere?

I was right at the front and he was brilliant, the crowd loved every minute, I've seen him live quite a few times and he is always fantastic, just a shame they don't give him a bigger stage. One of my highlights of the weekend

pretty gutted i missed this as every account of it seems to be highly positive, and he does have some absolute stormers. hope that next time he plays they stick him early doors on the Pyramid or something. i know he's not quite the name he once was but with the selection of songs he currently has he could own that field. late in the Avalon i'm almost certainly going to miss him - that timeslot was already jam packed with stuff i wanted to see

His live band absolutely smashed it too. I've honestly never seen a more natural/comfortable performer. Completely at ease in his own skin and it was a joy to watch.

Have bought tickets for the Portsmouth Victorious Festival today on the basis that Will is booked.  Any other Glastogians going to this one?

He was in my top three! Wanted to see him for years so I was so excited he was playing. Absolutely blew all expectations and exceeded them too, so much fun and energy, you can tell he loves it.

Can only agree with the comments already made above. A great performer and genuiely seemed happy to be there. l always love the atmosphere in the avalon tent, makes a good performance even more special. His band were great, in particular his backing singers, one of  which held an incredible note for such a time that afterwards she nearly seemed in trouble!

Shame he was another one lost in the massive pile of clashes. One friend went who said he was great.

My highlight last year was Motorhead, or at least I hoped it was going to be, shame Lemmy was so poorly.

My highlight this year was Will Young at the Avalon and it was an excellent performance. Went there with mild expectations, came away feeling like I'd been at a 1992 all night rave!! (well nearly!)

 Brilliant!

Early evening on the Pyramid would suit him perfectly.
