What time does it all die down?

Recommended Posts

Just a quickie if you will.

What time does everything die down- not when the main stage act finishes but when all the music stops and everyone goes back to their tents?

I'm going for the day and trying to decide whether to catch a 12.40 train home or stay till the morning 6/7am. I don't wanna go home if things are still banging till the early hours but I don't wanna hang around for 6 hours if nothing is on either!

Also, does it matter about the day? Fri or Sun for me.

Chars.

There is very little on in the arena once the main stages shut at around 1130pm if they have the exit to the campsite properly organised that will be your lot

I can't imagine they'll check (wrist)bands into the campsite, it will be utter carnage post the last band, the queue would last for hours!

Anyone have anymore info re the day entrance? Will this enable those coming in from the town access without having to tramp miles out the way around the site?!  A nice entrance in the North East corner of the site on Richfields Av would be most appreciated by us hotel pussies!

damn you're confrontational for someone looking for help

Na, reckon you just got me wrong. 'yeah, right, i see' not 'yeah right, you're an idiot.'

I can't imagine the campsites will have much going on even if day-trippers could get in, just groups sitting around portable speakers cracking jokes. I'll take the 12.40.

Chars me dars

Day ticket entrance is on cow lane, left hand side of Main stage.

Sweet, just seen it on the map, looks like you have access via O'Malley Alley which is where the exit at the end of the night is for all, which saves an age of time. Do you happen to know if Weekend wristband holders will be able to waltz in through that way?

...Or will they not be allowed at all/ have to queue for ages to get in there?

EDIT- Garrhh, looking at the map again it suggests that you may still have to enter the site having walked up past Red to teh 'Green Day Entrance' as opposed to O'Malley Alley, which should save a bit of time but will not the game changer I have been hoping for for 4-5 years!

    • I had a great time yesterday and came to the conclusion that everytime (or, more accurately, both times) I didn't have a great time at Primavera, it was water-related. Either there was too much of it (Thursday 2026) or there wasn't enough (Thursday 2022, week 1).
    • I sacrificed the first hour of the cure for Role model yesterday and oh man that was a good bet! That guy and his band are insanely good and an hour long only bangers!

    • Possibly not as there are chair size restrictions in the seated area, for the guidelines see here -  https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/bring   Have a look into applying for Access and I would recommend contacting them for further advice before buying a ticket - https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/access  They should also be able to answer if you can take a wheelchair into the seated area 🙂
