What time did you make it home?

Started the car at 9.10, walked in the door in sunny Blackburn at 4 ish.  Couldnt believe how easily we got out of the car park we were in and out to the motorway.  Easiest ever, although I suspect that was due to problems getting elsewhere so wont gloat. Was sat in McD's having a coffee before 10!

I walked out of gate A at half 8 this morning and im still not home....will be within the next hour though :)

Dude!  I packed up my tent about 12:30 and am home and showered (going to have a bath though, still feel like I stink!).  Can't believe I made it back so quick, cheers for the company on the way down :)

We left at around 11.30 am today and got back to Yorkshire around 5pm after a couple of stops (flush toilets at Gordano hurray).

I know Radio 2 is probably seen as a bit sad by some of you but I sent a text to Steve Wright who did actually read out my message to everyone travelling home from Glastonbury today - was just before 4pm and he played a Lionel track as I'd asked for (All Night Long). That cheered me up a bit but the post Glasto Blues are kicking in now. Been in the shower, unloaded all the muddy boots etc. Curry on order. Eat. Bed. Sleep. Work tomorrow.

Our coach pulled in at 5pm after leaving around 10ish, a couple of hours later than expected but not a bother.  It was one of those 'luxury' type coaches with quite a tight staircase but they had three seats reserved for disabled/injured types downstairs so I felt like I had my own VIP Booth, and plenty of leg room which really helped my knee.

Feels odd being in a building again. Takeaway ordered, highlights to watch.

Home now, what the hell happened to the world? Riots in France, Greece collapsing, holidaymakers gunned down, and a bomb threat closing roads in Exeter!

I don't want to go home, i want to stay like this forever!

My sentiments exactly.

We left at about 0130 and drove straight out. Did half of the stretch home and stopped for a few hours sleep before continuing on and getting home at about 0700. 5 hours sleep and then a day of feeling sad about it all being over.

    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
    • f**king horrendous and seems they couldn’t run an egg and spoon race.  zero info and the crush waiting to get in to see Massive Attack was potentially disasterous. Zero info, no stewards at all and was told that the whole evening was cancelled, when we got to the exit. Because it rained. First time attendee and i’ve got onsay, i’m far from impressed. Scalping bastard taxis asking €37 plus for an €11 fare too. Wonderdul.
    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
