it's near the double teepee and grilled cheese stall - head from bandstand back to cider bus and turn right.

2nd best

If you are going from the bandstand to the cider bus you've gone the wrong way?

If you head from The Bandstand & go towards Leftfiled then it's at the markets/pyramid/leftfield/bandstand cross road.

Near the best Carribean food stall on site.

2nd best

best one I've found in recent years has been in Shangri-la, and properly served with a scowl as all the best jerk always is. :P

For the proper jerk experience get yourself to St Pauls Carnival the Saturday after Glasto. :)

nope that's wrong - that's definitely markets F (heading for Brothers Bar) - it's on Markets C (heading for Circus) the way you suggest would mean you cross the double bridge heading for Cornish Arms, Recharge and Leftfield - that's the wrong way.

I said face towards the Cider Bus and take the first right.

Maybe my description was wrong.

I thought it was here, the red rectangle?

What is that map right? I thought the bandstand had moved further down this year towards Oxyler Bridge, That's it's old location - almost opposite Babylon Markets D between Markets B and C - but the bandstand isn't there, it's the other side of the stream outside the Bread & Roses, which is the bar marked opposite the corner you mark. You're correct in your marking of the location of Babylon Uprising but that map is wrong! Edited by 5co77ie

yup it's moved: see the new location here it is now in the next fork in the path - as I said outside Bread & Roses: as you can see from this map to get to the red square you marked above - from the bandstand you head back toward the cider bus and take the first right :)

The Bandstand is in the wrong place on that map, not sure why?

If you look at this aerial overlay from last year the bandstand is where I said it was before & not outside Bread & Roses.

The part of the map I posted up there is v4 of this years Fine Guide map (the one that The Bandstand are sending out to Artists).

that's a great map! the stripey round tent is Babylon - did they move Bandstand over the weekend then - as I'm sure it was in Butts Land on Sunday. As the disabled map shows it - but then I had been on it a bit by Sunday

If you mean the overlay from 2014 Scottie, that's my work :) How things mate. Loved seeing you and your daughter at... Womad? Shambala?

Ivv'e been trawling the net for this years copy of the 2015 Blom A3 map to update a printable map I'm making with most of the stages marked on. Anyone seen one yet?

Funny how people mention Thee Bandstand... of course there are three nowadays, the original, Williams and Cruissantt !

The Original (Babylon) Bandstand is in the wrong place on last years A3 map (and the A3 Disabled access one) for some reason?

    • Same here, when the lineup dropped it looked very strong but this year I’m considering more whether I buy tickets for enjoyment or fomo.   Speaking of that dilemma, I caved and bought a Turnstile Piece Hall ticket so I’ll see you there 😂
