One for the two Jackeens in this thread. Gotham Café for Pizza. Salivating.

Ooooh never been there, are you talking of the Dublin one? Or is there one out your way?

Dominos do 50% off on collection with a valid NHS card. It serves a hungover purpose but isn’t my favourite pizza.

That said, it’s better than the bland kebab shop effort that you find on high streets all over the land, far too much dough, undercooked, dull tomato sauce.

Those setting foot in the fair land of Newcastle could do a lot worse than venture into the Grainger Market to the Pizza By The Slice stall. Under £2 for a huge lump. The size of it is bigger than a full pizza you’d get at dinner time at Zizzi which costs £6. I measured!!

I think after Glastonbury, food is my second favourite subject.

Nope, only one in Dublin on South Anne Street. Get involved.

Nice spot yeah! Takeaway pizza in general is way overpriced mind you. Buy pizza bases and make your own. Much better fun. And nicer. And cheaper.

Just had one for lunch. Pepperoni, salami, mushroom, black olives, blue cheese and goats cheese. And basil. Mmmmm.

I did an assignment on Dominos at uni and they have a 1000% mark up per large pepperoni pizza they sell, including all ingredients and overhead costs.

Quite disgusting really.

So the pizza's cost like 2 cents!? Christ almighty

Two bog standard pizzas from my local is 38 euro (about £27) delivered. Fucking insanity.

Are you a fellow Paddy too Nal?

The Independent Pizza Co here is probably the nicest I've ever tasted

    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
