Last time I went was the last Glasto fallow year in 2012, this was the lineup; Was absolutely ridiculous. Watching Bob Dylan with a spliff and a mojito as the sun went down was a proper once-in-a-lifetime vibe. (Florence cancelled, so De La Soul got bumped to the main stage)

Comes to think of it I may try go to both festivals.. IF I can get tickets Have you listened to Natty ?

I'm thinking of volunteering at a different festival this summer - any suggestions of ones to go for? Beat-Herder... it's where all my Glasto mates go in July and they've been nagging me to go for years as it's such a similar vibe, apparently. Some say (quietly) it's better than Glasto. I find that hard to believe but am going for the first time this year... worth a look at the pics/vids here: http://beatherder.co.uk/

Yep; it's got some glastonbury acts on there too that will make things easier for avoiding stage clashing at Glastonbury. Some great irish acts too

tabasco
And if you're a house/techno fan, then FreeRotation. But if you thought getting tickets for Glasto was bad...

I spent most of the weekend in a church playing the cow bell dancing on the furniture.

End of The Road Festival http://endoftheroadfestival.com/ looks great this year, oh and Festival Number 6 is a beautiful little festival in Portmeirion. It's actually in the town, so it gives a really lovely and surreal feel to the festival. Right by the sea too. tabasco
I love West Holts so much. If West Holts last year was a festival by itself, I would have gone. Such a ridiculous lineup.
