Last time was 2012 right? He's got a new album out and only the one London date for UK confirmed atm. Could he be back for festivals?

I reckon it'd be awesome, I thought his 2012 set was great from what I've watched on youtube. Don't know what the vibe was like there though.

Doubtful it'd be his style to play the festival so soon after the last appearance, but it'd be cool if so.

It was 2011 his last festival appearance, very wet and warming up for U2. Given the circumstances then he wasnt bad, but his health isnt good and his voice certainly is past its best. Not sure he'd be the best choice or even which stage he'd be best on these days

Apparently he was on top form when playing in Spain last week. Johhny Marr will also have a new album out on be on the festival scene next year.

Would prefer Morrisey tbh but would not mind if Johhny was there.

I'm also concerned his health might be an issue. I saw the first few songs and ditched him for the Radiohead set in 2011 - WORST DECISION EVER.

Edit to add: so yes I'd love it.

I made a similar error although it did mean I was in a prime spot for Caribou after. I'm seeing Moz end of November but would love him to play again

Given his current illness im not sure about Mozza, but for sure it'd be a dream come true to see him

Hiss illness may mean he would want to play. Whether he would be physically able to is another matter.

He's in the middle of a tour at the moment? He's playing the 02 at the end of November

He is indeed and I saw a review of his show in Spain last week that said he was in top form. But none of us know the extent of his illness and whether it is going to get worse. He looks ill in the pictures I seen.

The most important thing is that Moz gets himself better. I do not agree with some of his views and I do not think he should be able to demand no meat sold at his concerts etc. But the world would be a drabber place without Moz in it as there are not many characters left in the world.

i would say his voice is actually sounding as good as ever, the big change is in the tempo / pacing of the setlists he know plays, he is definitiely going down the crooner / ballads route (the frankie valli cover...trouble loves me, asleep all on the current tour.

im biased as im a huge smiths / moz nut so would love to see him play glastonbury...just dont expect a load of rockabilly / rock tunes like the 90's

(also just bought the Introducing morrissey dvd the other week...fantastic to see him in those early 90's...immense live!

His statement said he'd had cancer treatment (scraping cancer cells) in the past. I reckon if he's doing a full tour now and carrying it off alright then it might indicate it's not a current issue.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
    • Word of advice, your work-life energy balance should be 60% energy for work and 40% energy for life. If you're drained after a day's work, that is something you should strongly look into. Especially if it is solely due to work.
    • Well that was a game completely lacking in quality. I think Scotland didn’t deserve to win and were lucky Haiti couldn’t hit a barn door.   However if your Scotland you just take the win and run. It may be enough to get to the last 32. I hope it’s just a case of nerves and now they have points on the board they will show more in the next few games. Better to play poorly and win, then play well and lose!
