I decanted white rum into water bottles and sealed the caps back for the Friday last year, only to walk in with no bag searches or anything!

Didn't even take any drugs because I'd heard it would be so tight!

I went last year. Booze ain't a problem. They allow you to take sealed water in, so got a load of vodka in in water bottles (they didn't check the seal), but drugs is much trickier. They have a fairly consistent sniffer dog presence at the gates. We didn't risk it - and I never think its worth the risk when its like that. They're obviously not *that* effective though as there was quite a lot of drugs inside and we managed to score on both days.

I went last year and tbh I didn't really enjoy it.... Felt like I was queueing the whole time I was there, then there was mad dash back to underground for last trains home....

We didn't take drinks, so queued for ages then they took lids of the little wine bottles but not the water bottles.... So filled water bottle with wine so could put in bag....

Don't really remember seeing much.... Remember queuing a lot

This I can relate to, and I'm not sure it was down to queing, but more just the timings of stages making it impossible to see much

The site is pretty walkable (that in itself is a problem with noise bleed between stages - think Silver Hayes a few years ago) but it wasn't like you could jump from set to set for some reason,. Think I only saw 5 sets by the end of the night, which was dissapointing

It's no joke. It's the only flawless method there is, provided you arent getting strip searched. They feel under your armpits in a basic pat down!

I could not enjoy a festival without my stash. It is unthinkable.

You need to grow some boobs... I used to pop whatever it was into my bra, got into many a night club back in the day....

Went to Gatecrasher Summer Sound System way back in er 2000ish. My mate put a shed load of coke into his shoe, had it all wrapped up nicely. Upon arrival we had to walk through wet long grass to get to the entrance, he got through security thought everything was good.

He found a little spot to check his wears to find it had gotten wet from walking through the wet grass, I don't think I've seen someone swear/cry so much in my life!

Doubt I will ever forget that, funny what you remember!

I had a mate at bestival who put all his coke in a sun cream bottle to cover the smell, but didn't wrap it properly. when he got it out at the campsite all he had were baggies with squelchy coke infused suncream in. He was devastated. Determined not to see it go to waste he spent the weekend fingering the stuff into his arse.
