Almost afternoon all.

I had a look at your profile Matty, couldn't see any downvotes. Could be cos Pentura upped you?

Yup, got him out of the hole (finbarrrrrrrrrr)

We can't have people downvoting our matty!

Afternoon all, with videotastic pages recently! Who needs a jukebox with this thread? Been a busy weekend, all good apart from a recurring BSOD plaguing my laptop this weekend, not happy. However, we also survived the canal barge trip to see a sister in law for her birthday, where 250 people crammed on 1 boat*, so that was good too.

*blatant lie for dramatic effect.

More to the point - what in gods name did you put into google to find that!!!!

I was looking up a forum about cassette tapes and that was in someone's signaure! Nothing crude googled don't worry! :sarcastic:

I actually don't know what to say to the two of you! Matty and Pentura! And Dee that is a very valid point!

I can assure you CG, it was all very respectful!

Brain has been lost - it may be in the tent bag but here goes some BT stuff.

Arrival, all worked well for me as we were camping in accessible with Splodge and got in before the official time. Others had to go in a holding area that in theory (a bearded one) sounded good. In practise it seemed to not quite work.

Sites were all flat more or less with quieter areas if you wanted.

Toilets, cleaned twice a day at least and always loo roll when I went. There were showers and never queue's that long if you wanted one.

Music - lots of it and something of everything and will be again next year. Woodland area is lovely and lots cooler for the heatwaves that may happen one year. Random busking areas and some blackboard tents too with little gems waiting to be heard.

Funfair for those who like that sort of thing - we had lots of giggles watching young fit men trying to prove their manhood and failing epically.

Stalls selling stuff - yes there were if you like that sort of thing.

Food and drink stalls - plenty and lots of variety for all tastes EXCEPT no stalls selling potato wedges which are my favoured afternoon snack!!

Beer tents - Reasonable prices and lots of variety from 3.8% session ale to 10% Jaipur X - also loads of ciders and some of that fizzy lager stuff.

You can bring in your own too to any area.

Mobile 12v disco here and there and the disco shed for dancing in the middle cos you can.

Theatre type random stuff as well.

Friendly, safe and an aroma of certain things hanging in the air without anyone being that bothered by it.

Lots of security folks around the site and some undercover (though a bit obvious if you know what to look for).

I would recommend to anyone and next year a hard decision is pending as I want to do another festival I have not done before but BT says to me...... come back...... come back.

Ask any questions cos I will have forgotten loads.
