Birdsong is wonderful but at 0530 I gave up listening and got up. Serves me right for feeding the little buggers.

When we moved in to the Forest birdsong woke us up - as that was the only noise there was and after coming from a city it was just odd.

Now birdsong and associated country noises send me off to sleep.

So, S2H is moving to Pilton even though he cannot afford it.

Jeffie is setting up a commune where we shall all live.

The above are not happening as we are all moving in with Dee and Digger and they shall live their lives drinking free cider.

Well I didn't get wellies yesterday, I did try some on but they didn't fit and town was busy so I shall try again another time!

Sang Vivaldi's Gloria in a nice old church last night, with organ accompaniment, which was lovely Now having an easy Sunday, just about to catch up on a prog I've recorded.

Hope everyone is having a nice day! Btw, love the nice houses. Bit of a trek to work though. I do fancy living in a little village though. Maybe one day!

I went in there! It was bloody crowded, with a fun charleston-style band playing (no idea who they were). A nice addition to the site

Edit - just checked. They were dj's actually, rather than a band, playing 78's. They were called the Shellac Sisters. Worth a look if you're in that area in June!

Have any of you had experience of a cat having an Ultrasound?

We may have to go down that avenue soon but at nearly 17 years old it worries me - he certainly cannot have general anesthetic so would have to be held and I know that will panic him something rotten!

The £££ scares us too but it is available if we have to do it - but we just do not want him to suffer just to find out that he needs to have medication for life - which we pretty much already know bless him, thyroids, heart murmer and what the US is for, fluid retention in kidneys.

The worst thing is he is happier and bouncier than he has been in ages!
