How to confuse a Matt

"Sorted out for E's and Whizz" is a Pulp lyric, which references being stocked up on illegal substances.

Mr Pentura has parodied it, by saying "sorted out for peas and squid", as we were discussing the inhaling of foodstuffs for recreational use. (not recommended)

:)

Hi everyone. I can barely keep up!!!

It seems like a fun time has been had by everyone on here today :)

Matty I still chuckling about the crochet thong, I was in the middle of a very staid meeting when I opened it, I choked :)

Lucy, this innocent 49 yr old has sussed the disco biscuits, I thought you were going to supply a recipe for an illicit something to wash down with a brew lol so many names for one vowel

Ben hows mrs b? No aches or pains after the marathon I hope :)

Has anyone heard from curly girl? I hope she's ok?

Mr G was it you who posted the nick cave song into my arms? If it was THANK YOU x I hadn't heard it before, it's a beautiful song :)

Hi All

The good old mobile is working, unfortunately the proper one had a very brief bath and not working (it has been in oven and still no life). I think it's dead Jim.

Off to take Mrs Slodge out for dinner and beer.

Hope the boogie peeps have a funking good night, hopefully Matty will not put his back out.

Should be online Sunday morning for ticket resale.

Have a great evening everyone.

It was, and you're welcome, Babs.

One of his more tender songs. I'm a bit of a fan, really enjoyed his performance in 2013. He really got involved with the audience, despite half of them being there just to be ready for Mumfords. I think some of them got a bit of a shock, once he started shouting, effing and jeffing!

Hahaha not quite what they were expecting!

    • Can't speak for Dua Lipa's, but Coldplay's was vastly scaled down compared to their stadium production staging though, and tracks were adapted to reflect that. MOTS tour had a full walkway 30m out to the B-Stage in the middle of the crowd, and two C-Stages. Glastonbury didn't accommodate that at all and just had a very small walkway in front of the Pyramid stage, and (IIRC) a disconnected B-Stage.   Which re-enforces my point. Acts can adapt their stage shows if they really want. Most do, some don't want to. Glastonbury might miss out on the odd act that doesn't want to slightly adapt, but so will most festivals.
    • Oh wow, was sure they’d be playing this or trees.
    • A name I didn’t think of. Maybe too big though. Think he’d go down very well despite being quite controversial.
    • Oh bummer, got excited then 😂   Although if I had read all the way down it would have been a bit of a give away, no other festival will book both of those 😂
