Sorry to hear this. You all must be grieving, and dealing with it in different ways. Would him talking to CRUSE help? It's a bereavement group for counselling, advice and chatting, and it helped me. You being there will be a help to him too. I'm sorry if this is the wrong tone or not wanted, just wanted to offer some information.

Advise is always welcome Carlos, I've tried to talk him into counselling but he is a very private and proud man. I suppose I'm lucky he is opening up to me because he doesn't to anyone else in the family. Everyone else thinks he's ok so when I mention he's not, they sort of dismiss it. Still, as long as he's talking to someone! I'm a bit of a control freak and want to 'fix' everyone so I'm struggling that I can't fix him. 65 years is a long time to be with someone they love and care for 24/7 to suddenly be without them. Thanx x

Ive been that tired over the weekend i was fast asleep before half 9

Feeling a bit more refreshed today, and my dads not as bad as he has been so thats good too, he's still not right but looking a bit more like himself

My 'other'festival annouced its headliners last night. So i've got James, Elbow, Vaccines, Kaiser Chiefs and Snoop Dog to look forward to during my post glastonbury hangover. Not seen any of them before. So that'll be good.

Morning everyone. It's a glorious sunny day up here, not that it matters, I'll be going to work soon. Thurlow I'm trying to get tickets for Kendal Calling this morning. We thought we'd got them in December but it didn't go through! Afghan! Wish me luck! Kaiser Chiefs were my highlight of Glastonbury last year. Seen Elbow before and they were fab. I also want to see the vaccines and James.
